I love Cake. I've loved Cake since 2 years before 'The Distance', the song that made them known about 11-ish years ago.
Now every 15 minutes there's an iPod commercial with 'Short Skirt, Long Jacket' which was one of my favorite songs by Cake. 8 years ago. I now hate a song that was one of my favorites just a week ago.
I hate commercialism.

I've known about it for years, actually. Until recently I just never had enough gil where I felt comfortable with the initial investment. I will admit that your posts inspired me to shout for it instead of just buying from cheap WG bazaars, though.
Oddly, there were 2500 people on Lakshmi last night; more people on a weekday than I've seen for a long, long time. As Tijet pointed out to me on Ventrilo, they were probably all just logged into XI while waiting for XIV to download/install.
