You'll get it once df is around to do it. Sometimes that can be a few days, but it's usually pretty quick.

No, they banned a sock that i made so i could give premium to RDD.

Of course they would ban a sock, even if it has premium.

Wait...I don't understand. Why can't you just gift a premium to another account on a regular account instead of making a sock?
Because they don't have a (working) system set up to do it, and the only way is to buy premium on another account, then transfer it to a different one.
This still doesn't make sense to me. I transferred my premium to Popcornshowers so she could share baby pics. About a month or so later she was going to be offline for an undetermined amount of time and it got transferred back to me (which they didn't even have to do).

Maybe it's just a pain in the *** to transfer (but no, that doesn't make sense since they want to transfer it from a sock), or MineDF just loves me. :P

Well of course i could transfer my premium to him, but i didn't want to give him my premium, i wanted to buy 3 months for him. Of course i only have 3 months left on my premium anyway, but i got an extra month out of the referral this way, so it was better anyway.

I guess my point was that making a sock just seems like a bigger pain in the *** than gifting premium should be.

What? The entire process took me 2-3 minutes. Not including making a thread, and talking to myself. Though they should probably just fix /giftform.html so df doesn't have to go through the trouble of manually transferring it every time. Also people would probably buy premium for their friends more often if they did too.

Lol that is what I meant. For them to go through and manually mute and then transfer. Not for us. Obviously making a sock is easy ;P

you talked to me too, but I swore it was chewy, just on the speed of the cool story bra pic, but then again you usually do get posts in before people finish typing them. Which leads me to another question are you in my house?

Muting takes all of 3 seconds. Though like i said, they usually don't even bother to. Also, transferring premium doesn't/shouldn't take much effort either. I mean, considering people don't buy premium for others very often, i can understand it, but yeah, it still seems a little silly, especially since they used to have a system for it, so they could just fix that.

So I like lurking. goddaproblemwiddat?

Actually, until 10k came around, I hardly posted at all. I was at maybe 300 posts before, but I guess 10k brought me out of my shell.

Intersting fact: I was at about 10 posts when I started hating Rog. I was at about 800 posts before I stopped loathing Rog. It took me a while to understand his condescending attitude is actually humor; and when it's not humor but still condescending, he's actually trying to help.

I know this makes me look hypocritical, but I'm considering getting a premium account. For those keeping up on Facebook, I have plans to get an iPhone in the next two weeks, and I am wondering if premium is worth it for access to the mobile site.
Premium is a complete waste of money.

Unless you want to support alla.
I actually do subscribe for the features. I'm absolutely horrible with names, both in RL and VL. I recognize people by avatar usually, so I like having an avatar so people will recognize me. Yes, I know this is a feature that should be available without Premium.

However, if you get a smartphone, the mobile site is actually pretty nice. My MotoDroid doesn't really like the coding, so the mobile site is super-easy to navigate and much faster loading.

Not to mention the fact that I can post epic Cool Starry Bra pictures.

Ok, fine, but they still aren't worth the money. Though i can see being recognized being worth $30/year for people that don't post much, so people still recognize them.

It seems pretty pathetic when you phrase it like that. Smiley: frown

Well i mean, people like me who actually post more than once a year would be recognized either way, but people like say, for example, szabo, who only has a mere 3k posts, it'd probably be useful, and worth the money.
