Yeah, my character's name is Deathfrance. I made it when I was like 14 and thought it was cool for some reason. I really wish I could get a name change but as I understand it SE won't allow it. It makes me want to /wrists every time I see it though from embarrassment.

There is another character with a very close name as well. He's Katnip, and I'm Katknip. I get /tells nearly every day for him.
That's not to say it wasn't me, it might very well have been, especially if it was in Nashmau or Windurst Almost all I do with her nowadays is fish.

I've had a couple of other Alla posters send me /tells in-game. They always have to remind me who they are, even if it's the same name. For some reason, I just don't put 2 + 2 together and associate the name with the poster. I'm weird like that.

I had thought about asking someone to do that, but is there a possibility they would just delete the character? I don't want to risk it in that case, but if you think it would work I'd be grateful if you tried.

No, they just tell you to pick another name. I've seen quite a few screenshots of it.

Its a lot of effort and money, but you could server transfer, then create a char on Lakshmi named Deathfrance, then transfer back and it will prompt you to rename your main. Then simply delete the mule.
