I would like to submit that Odude and Arwocky are excellent Elvaan and put much of Vana'diel to shame due to their sheer awesomeness. I'll put it to you this way when I wanna kick some ***, and I mean giant robot city stomping megadisaster asskicking I usually sub /odude or sub /arwocky. Never fails.
