Ezzelin, I honestly don't believe you are a bad person or a cheap player. The incidient that keeps be brought up, while I believe unfair, is not the heart of why people like Miracles have a bad rep. For me its a combination of things that dates back as far as I can remember ever running across him. He desperatly wants to get the point across that he is better than you, especially if you are not in his linkshell. He has a disillusion grasp on reality, and his in-your-face snobby attitue, is why I have rarely run across another player on Lakshmi who both knew who he was and didn't think poorly of him and his linkshell.

I understand that's not fair for people like you, but you are going to be associated with the people you run with and defend. There is no other way to put it - there are a few members in that linkshell that are just plain trash.

Holman is pretty harmless, he basically just comes off as a very dumb attempt at being a Miracles clone. He plays the "I'm better than you at everything in RL and in-game" card almost to a laughable degree (I got hundreds of thousands in the bank, endless number of chicks, and look at how hot I am).

Galan is obviously Galan. I honestly don't understand why any linkshell leader would allow this guy in their linkshell. It is instant "lol" status to be in the same shell as this guy. He is the most unrespected punk kid on the entire server. He's neck and neck with Valdan for having the absolute worst reputation on the entire server. Where Valdan passes him in dirty tricks, Galan makes up for it with a completly sh*tty attitude towards people he doesn't know and a very, very annoying personality.

It is like Josm. Lately I've heard things like "Josm was really a cool guy a couple years ago, I don't understand what happened". What happened, was he was RL friends with Valdan and as such would defend him no matter what he did. Sure he might say "I agree Valdan shouldn't do what he does", but the fact was he kept associating with him, lumping their two names together. And I don't think that is really unfair to Josm, because by associating with him he is encouraging that playstyle and would often even be around to help Valdan in those fights where he ended up scamming people.

If you want to associate with people like Galan, Holman and Miracles and/or defend their actions, it will be hard for some people to see you differently than they see them. I can appreciate your loyalty to a linkshell, as I have to assume it isn't all bad people, but SS is now known as the trash linkshell of Lakshmi and as long as those people are running the show, that reputation is likely to never change.
