I was a newb once. I was never a noob, n00b, or had any association with "n00b pwnage"

A newb is someone who is new to the game. They have their fair share of questions, But they are intelligent, comprehendable questions.

A n00b is, well, Look at your orignal post. That's a n00b. Nobody can read what you posted man. 75% of the things you typed aren't words.

You remind me of Intyoda.

He could be right here. Either way, prepare to be astonished at the amount of players out there that need you to hold their hand, even when they are 75.

If you're serious about having Dyslexia, Then I suppose i'm sorry.

But considering you spelt it "dislecsia", I have my doubts.

Edit~

If you have dyslexia, thats one thing.

If your "play on words" is intentional, then that is rather unforgivable.

I have no idea how dyslexia actually effects a persons ability to type co-herently, but a friendly bit of advice, at least try to make an attempt to break your string of text into a more user friendly format >.>

That being said, benifit of the doubt given. Welcome to Lakshmi.

And in Barry's defense, your post is very difficult to take seriously. Simply because its one giant sentance.

Sounds like a 15year old on speed. <.<

In his defense, it could be that s/he just finds it easier to spell words as they hear them. Think about it when you are learning English at school, did the teacher tell you to spell it like it sounds? It's only when the rules of how things are spelt in specific circumstances come into play that it trips most people up. Anyhow enough about the spelling, if s/he does/doesn't have it, it doesn't matter. The main issue here is high levels that are totally stupid ;P

To GAMExOVER, if you are dyslexic, then you must know that everyone will have a hard time understanding what you're saying. You'll have to go the extra effort to get others to understand you as a lot of (mostly older) players don't have the time or the patience to try to decipher n00b speak.

We will appreciate the effort mate. No one here demands perfection (well maybe some do, ignore them)

PS:

The difference between a n00b and a newb is:

n00bs generally do not listen, they expect everyone to help them with whatever they want, and when they dont get their way, they generally throw a fit and make an *** out of themselfs. They dont handle critism well.

The term n00b is strogly associated with the inability to type using proper english, and their use of "leet Speak" ie. Sum1, 4 (for) etc etc >:P However, this is generally matter of preference to the reader, some people have no trouble with this type of typing. More of the older people who where less associated with computers and Instant messaging services still veiw this in a negative way, even though its very much a part of the younger generations computer vocabulary haha >;)think of it as a generation gap of sorts

Newb is simply a new player/user. While they may make mistakes, they will listen and try to correct their mistakes when respectfully mentioned. They dont take advice as a direct attack, but take it as simple advice.

Most people have no patience for n00bs.

Having been raised in Bastok, and spent some minor time in San d'Oria, I must admit that it wasn't until recent levels (I'm nearing 60 here), that I actually ventured into the the Ruins there. I've had no need to. And while I enjoy getting out and seeing the world, I don't have time for everything, and that just wasn't top of the list. Though I did do the map quest, and ran about on my own.

Level doesn't mean that a person has been everywhere. If there hasn't been a reason for them to go, then there's a good chance they haven't.

The problem with forums like this, is when someone post something, ppl say stupid stuff like never post here again. Ok, obviously the guy has some spelling issues, but nontheless I still understood what he was saying. Lay off and chill the hell out, everything doesn't have to be a flame war.

No no... butchering any language you can speak fluently should be a capital crime against humanity. Any person using forms of l33t speak, n00b talk, or just abusing slang while typing is relatively annoying to the majority of the population above the age of 18.

Actually, I believe it's you sir that should follow your own advice.

Especially considering Barry did apologize once the fact of GameXOver's Dyslexic nature came to light, as well as the fact that there were no other flames after that besides your own... and now this one ^^;

also i have to add i live in a part on my country witch has alot of slang i mean alot it may just be diff to u but to me alot of it is normal so its not "butchering" as you call it it is how i speak and the way people speak around me so just leave it at that and if i have spelt owt rong then it is beacause im dyslexic but if i say phrases that u dont understand dont flame me it may be the way i say things were i live

BTW I quit the game if anyone was curios as to where I have been.

This seemed as good a place to post that as any.

; ; Sad to see you go Troille, Will you still check Alla every once in a while? We weren't the best of friends in-game, Since we never partied or anything lol. But, We had our share of conversations on Alla and in Jeuno :P

Were you just bored of the game? Or personal/RL reasons and whatnot.
