I just bought FFXI today. I'm a MMOG veteran, but for some reason I never got around to getting FFXI... until today :)
Like I said, I've played just about every MMOG out there. However, I'm having some trouble with this one. It seems that it has a high learning curve.
Something that I've found out in all my years of playing online games is that they're only as good as the people you play them with. I was wondering if there are any guilds or people out there that wouldn't mind teaming up or chatting with a total and complete FFXI noob.
I'm a pretty mature-minded player, but I also love to joke around. I'm a writer when I'm not in-game, so I pride myself on having decent spelling and grammar (oh God, I hope I didn't spell anything wrong in this post...).

Hmm... but rerolling wouldn't really serve a point, I think. Because, you know, I couldn't pick what server I'm on. And I don't think people would confuse me, a level 2, with someone that bought a character off of ebay or whatever :p
we can get you a worldpass without problem. But he's right, any familiarity in the names with RMTs might cause you problems in the future.

heres an easy way to do it, go to create new character and set it up all as you want then put lakshmi in as the server. once you already have a character on this server you can have as many as you want. then you can delete the old character without having to worry about reroll :) (this is the same method everyone uses for creating mules or storage characters lol)
