This happened again I see, and again I was off doing other things in RL so didn't notice.

What is it with Windy anyway? I notice that this only happens when the good citizens of San d'Oria try to propose an alliance to Windurst. Last time shortly before it happened, several citizens from San d'Oria and Bastok asked, for the mutual benefit of everyone, that each nation let the other nations "look after" their newbie zones for a week so we can all enjoy visiting each other more often and have tea and tacos. Windurst responds to our peace offering by taking over Ronfaure and Gustaburg by force, and then refusing to allow the other nations access to Sarutabaruta.

A few weeks ago, someone asked kindly if Windurst and the other nations would consider this treaty again. This week in response, Windurst spits on the request, stomps it in the ground, burns it, then stomps on the ashes. And again, without anyone even trying to take over Sarutabaruta, Windurst decides it has to be "all that" and take over Ronfaure. Again. Hey, don't you know we're busy over here? We've got orcs and goblins, and these random demons that want to come through our northern pass! We can't bother to get in a pissing match with Windurst over Ronfaure!

But nooo... you had to be all that. Well oh snap, it's on now. You've awaken the sleeping giant, it's going down. And all that. With BBQ. And maybe some chips, I like chips. With Dr Pepper.

That might very well be the best post I've ever read on this forum. Kudos.

Oh noes!

/em faints.

Hey Andi! I'm just trying to bring a little levity to the situation. Why is Windurst always so uptight? I thought that was Sandy's job? ^^; (btw, I still have your keg in my MH, it's awesome sauce)

Well, it's not that we intentionally planned to take over Ronfaure after there were talks about sharing lowbie areas. So what happened? The opportunity landed on our laps and we acted on it, after all, we are not ones to look a gift horse in the mouth. On Friday, members of the WindurstEnseiguntai noticed that Windurst was minor in Ronfaure. It was just that. How did that happen? Unknown, but some people threw out guesses. My guess was there were a lot of Windurstians leveling in King Rampierre's Tomb. Maybe there were a few rich Windurstians that knew the Windurst EF LS would act, take up the cause and thus got us to at least minor standing on Friday. Who knows.

So now, this is what I throw out to you guys, especially San d'Orians (and Bastokans who don't have their OP warps to Sarutabaruta)... If you really want Windurst's lowbie area, you'll have to show it. If you guys get major at 2 am (6 hours before tally my time) and quit, I'll make sure you won't get it. If you guys try hard up until tally, I'll concede. I will even applaude you for your effort at 8 am PST. Slackers need not apply.

Um, we can't just you give you Sarutabaruta. Your going to have to talk some of those filthy rich Elvaans that sit around in Jeuno into helping out there nation. It's not fault that your fellow countryman are too busy fleecing everyone and keeping it all to themselves insted helping there Nation's conquest. This is no shocking suprize and has been mentioned in multiple posts about EF before. Sandy has hundreds if not thousands of people more than Windy, yet they lack the will to sacrafice just a little bit to benifit there nation and people. I had a mule spy on one of the only Sandy EF LS when it started up. All the people wanted was gil or items, the whole "Me Me Me" attitude. There were very few people that acutally wanted to EF for their pride in Sandy and it let to the end of the LS. Windy does not have that problem. When our EF shell was at it's highest peek of members it was made up of mostly low weath players. Sometimes we had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to get the equiptment to do the EFs. It wasn't about the money for us, it was about being able to take pride in doing something for Windy, and doing something that goes beyond just us. Winning those regions effects everyone on the server rather they know it or not. The first time we took Ronfaure there where hundreds of people that came to the outpost within the first few hours that thanked us and couldn't believe that it really happened. We did something that possably more than a thousand people around the world got to benifit from.

Easykill even made a post Friday warnning, with plenty of time left, about Windys attempt to take over Ronfaure. He was one of the only ones that show up to make any effort to stop us. The funny thing about that post was that most replys were to cheer us on. Insted of crying about a broken "Treaty" you should listen to him and gather your faithful. I think Easykill may just have the drive to hold togher a Sandy EF LS. The members of WindurstEnseiguntai have praticaly spilled out everything that used to be secret to us about EF on Allakhazam so for the most part your not even having to start from scratch. Now all you have to do is gather the troops. Just rember, Rome wasn't built in one day.
See you soon,
Spot

...and just as requested,
All your Yagudo Cherry are belong to us
hint.. hint.. Roukii I'm ready.

It was at this point in the speech that I started hearing the Windurst National Anthem being played in the background. While SpotTaru spoke, images of loyal Windurst Tarutarus and Mithras flashed on the screen saluting, and then it zooms in to two cute little tarutaru and mithra children wearing Windy aketons and holding litle Windy flags, waving them high. The message ends with the Star Sybil point at the viewer, with the words "Windurst wants YOU for EF" at the bottom.

Wow, that'd make a great campaign commercial. /em looks at Shykre.

Sorry for all those offended at this. But as one of the occupying force, I suggest we change San d'Oria's national anthem to:

Quote:
O San d'Oria!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing complexion we see thee rise,
The True North pompous cup of tea!

From far and wide,
O San d'Oria, we groom our hair for thee.

God keep our locks glorious and free!
O San d'Oria, we aspire to be better than thee.

O San d'Oria, we lost our homeland to Windy.

Sorry... sorry sorry... I know that was really bad...

You guys can have ronfaure on occasion, it's probably a nice thing to have if you want to level. What with the Sandorian region pretty much the single most versative area to level off of in the game, spanning from level 1 to level 75.

What would gustaberg get us, the mines? Mines suck for xp and the only use we'd have for them is mining and we allready have a much easier mine to get around in. Windy would only afford us Giddeus and the ruins, does anybody even go in that place aside from going to the canals for AF?
