All World Server Maintenance & Update (Aug. 22)

At the following time we will be conducting FINAL FANTASY XI server maintenance & Update. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

[Important Update Details]
Friend List
- Different personal comments can now be set for each handle on MY Friend List.
- The command "Group Invite" has been added to the Group Friend List menu.
- Personal comments in the PlayOnline Friend List are now subject to the language-filtering tool. The following words have been added to the language filter tool;
GilSeller, chinese, ***, balls, fart, ***, cyber, & sex.
- A function that allows users to us the DUALSHOCK(R) II analog controller during fights for their own sexual enjoyment has been addressed.
*This function is the new format for the "Group Message" function in previous versions.
- Users can now reply to messages in their "Read Messages" list, and also add senders to their Ignore List if so desired.

Active Handle Information
- A "Q&A Search" shortcut has been added to the Active Handle Information screen. From here users can perform searches inside the Q&A section of "Service & Support" so that they can receive an actual answer instead of "needs more cowbell" on gamefaqs.com
- While servers are down so will killingifrit.com, please flood other websites during server downtime so people who can make valid comments have the ability to do so.

Group Chat
- Orgy chat added for those who like to have more then one partner of the opposite sex in their party.

PlayOnline Mail
- Problem fixed where GM's were unable to e-mail you specifics of why you suck has been addressed.

Other
- The level cap has been raised to 80.
- To proceed beyond level 75, the final level cap quest "Blinding Stars" must be cleared
- Blackmage INT adjustment will be made for the Tarutaru class after the level of 50.
- Party Balance has been added, if the party consists of more then 3 of the same class no additional jobs of the same class will be allowed to join.
- Overall adjustments have been made to graphics issues for PS2 users.
- The location of the "???" mark in the quest "Whence Blows the Hooker" has been changed.
- The summoner job ability "Astral Flow" will now last one minute.
Also, while the ability is in effect the MP cost for maintaining an avatar will be reduced to 60.
- The following spells have been added; Meteor, Dia III, Bio III, Diaga II, Diaga III, Protect V, Shell V, Protectra V, Shellra V, & Trogdor.
- Redmages will now have the ability to use Raise II at lv 75.
- Same sex marriages between Galkans only will be accepted at this time since the female Galka does not exist.
- The option to watch a Galkan give birth anally has been added in Bastok Mines, a 200g fee will be added for those who want to view the event.
- "Love Registration" and "Love Invite" functions have been added to Friend Search for those seeking romance.
- IP logging has been added for any accounts that may be hacked in the future from others making vrtual girlfriends for less then a week and give all their personal information too.
- The new job "Quagmire" has been added but will only effect those jobs 18 and over.
- Fixed some other minor issues regarding regions of Japan and China having slower then normal ping time compared to other regions.
- Mass server D/C has been addressed and will still effect any region other then asia.
