Moopie and I went to the Fan Festival. I saw 2 other Sandy Lakshimi players (can't remember their name). I also saw the name Yokuku scrawled on the Lakshmi table. Did anyone else go?
At least we weren't like Cait Sith's players, like 17 players from that server went or something. Sad.

I hung out with Drxcrist, Teenieweenie, and another Lakshmi player (name escapes me, please forgive me). Next time they do this, everyone here should organize a meeting time so we can all see each other at least once. :) (A couple of servers did that this time).
But the people from Caitsith won an award for having the lowest turn out! If I knew that, I would have been tempted to put Hydra down as my server (which they did say was officially the server with the lowest turnout, 0, but since no one could claim the prize, they went to Caitsith).

I went as well. Didn't see any of you guys though, was stuck working the festival. Thursday I was working the room with the 360s, Saturday I was working the heroes tournament during the day and was checking badges at the back entrance of the tent during the concert. Was pretty crazy that they put my old server Valefor and my new server Lakshmi on the same table.
I wanted to go but tickets got sold out ; ;
I had a ticket... but US Customs were douche bags an refused me entry to the country.

That was fun ^_^ sorry you couldnt go man... Roby made a vid for you, from us =P and took a ton of pictures. I met someone there... his ingame was Ikosode, I think... didnt get to write it down. Please send me a /tell in game =P I'd love a SS of my Taru WAR next to yours ^_^ and the 2 you met, but dont remember their names... did they come over to the table and ask "Who here is from Lakshmi?" if so, that was us XD Me and Roby lol
I was there, too! 3 of my rl friends and I, all on Lakshmi, went together. Anaxagoras, Algorgalor, Aminsaiyor, and Kaylynn. We did run into a few people from Lakshmi, though I'm sorry to say I can't remember all of them (too many memories to try to hold em all). Most notable was our awesome live quest pt member, Giuoco, whom I had never met in-game, but is a really awesome guy! Live quest wouldn't have been as cool without him on the team. He's a lesser known personality, on the server, since he's a whm in the 30s, whereas most people at the event were chatting it up about HNM ls, etc etc. Nothing but props to Giuoco!
Speaking of HNM shells, you might notice WSz listed below in my info. I guess WSz and SnD haven't always seen eye to eye, in-game, but we ran into a couple guys from SnD (I can only remember Sonnus), who were also really cool, and we chatted a little bit. It was cool that the standard ls drama didn't carry over at FF, at all. Good job to the SnD guys for beating the lvl 3 hero BCNM!
Near the end, we met and shook hands with Drxcrist and Yokuku, of the Leprechaun ls (if I'm not mistaken), which a few of my rl friends were once in. Also cool guys, I saw Drx's mithra pic on the internet somewhere, looks good!
There were some others, and I can't remember any names, sorry. But, that paper on the table that said "Lakshmi" that a bunch of people signed? At the very end, I snatched it up so it wouldn't just get thrown away! Most people probably don't care, but I'm gonna scan it and post the link on here, so you guys and girls who where there can get a copy, if you want. It's just a cool piece of FFXI memorabilia, from the day that people around Lakshmi hooked up, even if just to shake hands.
Hey, once we get our moogle rods, and other stuff, we should meet up to show them off in a group! It would be cool to use them on each-other, the first time, and make the server a little jealous!
