Time for Troille to put you to shame!Follow

If you don't remember I had made a deal with Troille in regards to soloing my Lacheas Orb for KSNM-30 "Desert Swarm."

He can video tape it if he wants or I can post that he can or cannot solo it on this forum considering I'll be in BCNM with him since it's my orb.

Deal was almost identical as if I were to pay the 4 BLM setup type groups with some exceptions:

-If v-claw drops I get to keep
-If he looses my orb he doesn't pay me anything
-All other drops are split 60/40 (60% goes to Troille since he is soloing and I keep the lower 40%)
-Meds or anything he needs are at his expense to solo the orb since he'll be keeping most of the earning if anything good drops and defending his Reptuation against everyone that says he cannot do it at my expense.

Please correct me if I'm wrong Troille and if everything is golden then just let me know a time and date. Evening PST work best for me because I work during the day as I am atm >.>

Thanks!

No offense, but this is nothing new. I've seen this done solo before. I've seen the same person solo the 60-cap ENM where you fight the 4 automatons, I've seen him solo Genbu (INCLUDING the pop items required to get him in the first place...), and a few other things.

I've seen others solo things like the Dragon fight used to attain Rank 3.

It's cool to be able to do this stuff, but I've seen much harder and cooler stuff beaten solo.

If your talking about Avesta, this guy is a machine and he has gear that very very very very few players on all the servers have, yet alone together. For example, to run away safely from the scorpions in KSNM 30 while casting Sleepga II, you either have SOOO ????ing precise when you run off before the spell is casted, and most likely have a pair of Herald's Gaiters on you to make you run faster than the scorpions.

Who? I'd love to see that! I'll farm the pop item and have him use my water just to see someone solo Genbu. I know he would have to have a video of this? Who would do something like that and not video tape it? Get the link or have him post it online... I think that is incredible and amazing if he is that uber.

And this post was made because nobody believed that Troille could solo "Desert Swarm" since he didn't have any proof. He basically said indirectly that any BLM that cannot solo it is not a very good BLM (not in those exact words) and claimed to be in the top 10 best BLM on this server..... so for him to solo this will be no problem.

Overall I really hope he's telling the truth because I really don't want to loose my orb. haha! And he has no incentive to loose because he gets 60% of the drops for payment of his time and gets to prove to everyone that he is uber at my expense.

The japanese. A player on a different server made a video of himself soloing the last 5% of Genbu. Not sufficient evidence, imo. Could have just as easily let his LS take 95% off. The video is pretty long, I'd imagine the whole fight[if he did indeed solo] breached 5 hours. I can't really imagine the use in wasting several hours on something that could take several minutes, though.

As for KSNM30, I believe Toccata has attempted to or is planning to solo it.

Note: I've never done gods, So correct me if i'm wrong.

I heard from someone that when you do Genbu (Or any god) Once he is spawned, The pad he is on is sealed off, And nobody can enter/leave. In the video of Avesta soloing, There is nobody up on the pad with him. So, Unless i'm wrong here, He did solo it.

Nothing gets sealed off, the teleporters will still work.

Avesta did solo it, because he got 300 EXP for the kill. If he had an alliance that weakened it and then invised or logged off, he still would have gotten the EXP cut. The video is legit, and his strategy wasn't really hard to pull off. The reason why the whole thing wasn't videoed is because not only would it be incredibly boring to watch, it would be 4 hours of basically watching him run around in circles, and a waste of his bandwidth.

At least his Bune fight was probably more entertaining, from what I hear he had to Chainspell on that to save his own butt.

Genbu is probably one of the easiest solos Avesta has done, I'm willing to bet. He probably didn't even break a sweat, and I'm betting RDM isn't the only job that could do it either (but needing juices to provide Refresh for other jobs could be a potential problem). All you do is outrun a slow-*** turtle for 4 hours while putting Bio 2 on it every 2 minutes. Chances are, it wouldn't be a very fun thing to watch.

I don't know what moves Genbu has but probably the only thing that seems to be any real threat is Waterga. I don't know how Avesta dealt with that, whether he outran it or just put up Barwater and took it, but with Dalmatica + AF2 hat, I doubt it was anything he couldn't handle.

That's what Avesta does. He probably already has all the stuff in the game he could possibly want, he probably only does this soloing/videoing thing for the glory now. That, or he's trying to get RDM or /NIN nerfed.

He "soloed" Ash Dragon too (with help from others in the background to clear bombs), with a Ceremonial Dagger to prevent TP gain. That must have been a long *** fight as well, and from what I hear the dragon doesn't have a lot of net worth in drops either.

Waterga III, Flood, Drown, some AoE Dispel I think, might have a cone attack breath... I'm more nuking the living crap out of it than watching what he's doing.

Only Waterga 3? Then yeah, I don't even see that as much threat either, even to a Taru. Even if it did reliably land unresisted (it is a god, after all), it's still one of the weaker -ga 3s.

Flood and Drown are just Utsusemi food; Flood probably a nice time to reapply buffs and crap.

Dunno what the range on the AoE Dispel or breath would be, most of the time you're probably staying far away from the thing so I don't even know how often it would get to hit you with that if it tried.

True story, one time while attempting Kirin another "known" LS decided to MPK/Grief us. They claimed Kirin's Genbu Baby and the Leader decided to kite it around us. Genbu, of all mini gods. GENBU! Wake up and smell the Chocobo droppings. The slowest, most useless, joke of a God ever! Although they did try and get one of the others but ate dusty floor fairly fast.

Soloing still would be an attempt and a half as it's you vs a god. Impossible, no, easy, no, achievable, yes. I'd like to see him solo Suzaku.

Yes, I was talking about Avesta, and he's an absolute god.

I've seen many of his videos, and I'm more than impressed by it. I've also seen a MNK and DRG/rdm (don't remember either name, though) solo the Rank 2-3 dragon fight. Both people got dropped to about 12hp at least once, and both had to use hi-potions, but they did it.

There's stuff like this I plan on doing myself, but it's gonna be a LONG time before I get the chance.

Avesta's Genbu fight, I hear, took over 6 hours. >.<

The Mission 2-3 Dragon/Eye fight is easy to solo. Even a non-endgamer like myself has no trouble with it. I've done it on 2 different occasions now, it just takes a few quick ammo changes and a 2-hr if you're feeling saucy.

I've solo'd that fight as RNG/NIN twice, without needing any healing items of any kind. I have a video of it on my HDD, but it's currently uneditted and uncompressed, so I haven't uploaded it to Filefront yet. Give me time. All you really need is half-decent ranged accuracy, a stack each of your favourite damage bolts and sleep bolts. Utsusemi up, sleep bolt the dragon every time he wakes, while constantly swapping to your damage bolts to pick off the eye. With a little luck, your utsemi will swallow most of the nasty spells, but you need to finish the Eye quickly before he starts whacking at you. I use Eagle-Eye-Shot fairly early on, and it takes roughly 2/3 of his health off. The second time I attempted to solo it, I took no damage. Just lucky, I guess. After the Eye is dead, the Dragon itself is a joke. He's as slow as molasses, so you can just run out of range and take shots at him while he lumbers towards you. Keep utsusemi up at all times, as he will draw you in and take double-attacks at you. All in all, the fight should take anywhere between 7-10 minutes, depending on your accuracy.

As for soloing the nastier, bigger, end-game guys and some of the BCNMs, I really leave that up to the masters like Avesta. I've seen a handful of his videos, and I'm very impressed at his artistry. Mile-a-minute, that guy. ^_^

Didnt even notice this post sine I was out of town from teusday to thursday and it kinda slid down the list.

I would be happy to do it anytime my LS doesnt have a camp/event.

It can be beaten without using Aga nukes so you can pull back for and wait for them to come to you. Its a little safer that way.

No. The teleporter to go down works. You know, the one to leave the spawn area.

The teleporter to go up shuts off once the God (Byakko, Suzaku, Genbu, Seiryu) is popped.

Try it sometime Pork. Next time FH does Gods, port down when the God (any of the 4 above is popped) and try to go up. I bet they'll love you for testing that on Byakko or Seiryu.

Err, was thinking about the teleporters going downward. I'm going to have to decline on your offer, I trust your word.
