Ok we are NOT and RMT LS so that will stop right there and I am very upset that you said that and please next time you wanna flame someone use your real name and dont make a new account to do so, as I am a SH for Harbingers I will look into this.
Ok follow up: I just talked to him in game and he said RMT is his friend and was helping him but that doesnt not matter in my eyes and Synikal was removed from our LS...Harbingers does not support RMTs!

The actions of one person hardly dictate the attitude of an entire LS....
Its good that the LS Leaders are now aware of the problem, however this is not a very respectable way of bringing it up. They have already delt with the issue at hand, so its now your turn to step up and retract your statement abour the LS as a whole.

I'm glad to see the LS sacks and leaders handled this quick and effectively. We need more of this. And Synikal can hide behind whatever friendship he claims, but the fact is, you help RMT's, you **** over the rest of us, big deal if they helped you. That's -why- they help people, so said people will later help them, to hell with the legit players.

Honestly, while I in no way condon RMT I can see where Syn is coming from.. If the LS wasnt there to help him kill this NM but RMT's were, what does it matter?... on the note of helping them.. well regardless what they did a favor is a favor.. if he told them hed help he shouldnt break a promise to a friend under any situation. If some of my Game life long friends turned out to be RMT's (the ones that have extended there hand to more people including myself than I could even count) I could not and would not turn my back on them, Even if it was social suicide..
I just dont see why this is an issue he is not helping them farm or sell gil.. and not to mention can you honestly sit here and say that if you were working for X Months straight to get X Item that if an RMT gave his time to help that you wouldnt be grateful?.. would you spit in the kindness he gave you?.. or when the time came and he said "Man i just need a DD for this R/E Sword can you help me please?" Could you say nah man your an RMT?.. if so i see that being low..

Namely running to beaduax (sp?) to help a mnk in my ls he didnt even know to end up getting there right after key dropped.. so i can see syn being the type to help alot of people so even with this on his record this should not desocialize him as if was a RMT himself.

And no, I was telling FH along with SnD to kill the King Turtle that their pld warp claimed faster instead of half-assing it so I could go farm. They had about 18 people, five of them blm's. Get your facts correct, but thanks for at least being open that you help RMT's.
Although I suppose I... Kinda see.. Where Magnus is coming from, As I doubt I would turn my back on a longtime friend. However, There really isn't any excuse for helping a RMT get Byakko's Haidate. Or any item. What makes them better, Makes them richer. What makes them richer, Hurts all clean players on the server. Alright, You're friends with them. To each his own. But helping them damn near makes you yourself an RMT, In my eyes, And the eyes of most people.

Yeah Barry, I know but if you owe the guy a favor (one you voiced of course) then you need to make good on your word as it will not only reflect who you are in the game, but in real life.. if you helped an RMT cause you owed him a favor and repaid it, i would have more respect for you than if you turned your back on him...
By turning your back you show what you have to offer to a friendship that.. if in the servers eyes what you are doing is wrong that you would turn your back when this guy was there as a friend when the server was not, before you were known or <insert bond here>. I understand that they RMT and what they do is low.. and you shouldnt help them if you can avoid it.. but a debt is still a debt.
By helping them you are showing that regardless of the consequence you make good on your debts and words.. that is someone id want going on a mission with me anyday rather than the ones who say "im here to the end" and after they get what they want/need they warp/dc/make excuse and log.

First off, it is baseless accusations like this one that cause such drama over RMTs. Yes, Synikal was in league with the RMT while wearing a Harbingers pearl, but if a moment had been taken, could Atii not have been checked as well to verify whether he/she was in Harbingers? That would have been somewhat conclusive evidence to infer that Harbingers may have had dealings with RMT. But one person wearing a pearl while fighting with RMT is hardly enough to even think let alone spout on allakhazam forums that this LS caters to RMTs. As well, one should already know enough by now that even alluding to someone or an LS being with RMT is a very damaging accusation that would affect party invites and even friendships. Next time, do some research before coming to us saying an LS is RMT.
Second, I can attest to the generosity and helpfulness of people in the Harbingers LS. If it weren't for Panday, I would have been stuck trying to solicit help for a magick skull in Valkurm Dunes. As well, several of the LS members helped me numerous times in AF. As for Synikal, I have known him to be a pretty good guy. Ok Im not trying to be an ***, but its Magnus (there is a magus on Lakshmi i think and i would hate for people to think im him.)
Ok i know that helping them is bad and in any other situation id agree but with them already being his friend and they helped him when he didnt have help he owed them regardless.
I understand that with this item he may farm more and faster but you cant always say that without syn's help he wouldnt have gotten it... most the jobs RMT level is thf so it would only have been a matter of what a few days?...
Besides Gil Sellers arent ruining the game, the buyers are.. if the market is there, there will always be sellers, but without sellers people will start the job to meet the market. Sadly gil sellers wont go anywhere as long as people are willing to buy.
So, from what i know of syn he doesnt seem like a bad guy, honestly he could have lied and no one would have known. so he knows what he did was wrong but just couldnt turn his back.
I do not! want people to go out and start helping RMT, just cause they are your friends.. but in this case syn could have said "oh i didnt know he was RMT, ive known him since the begining and never knew". but at as long as he was paying back this one! debt and not seen with them more, than i dont see why he should be crucified, they are RMT but they did help him (time they could have been farming gil)
