i dropped sam at 68 because lfp for weeks on end is not fun. it doesn't matter what food you use, what gear you have or how prepared you are, just get used to having your flag up.

Actually Hixxi, it isn't that simple. You'd be surprised how many people who complain about lfp troubles have also considered creating their own party, and haven't been able too. It isn't like the thought of doing so didn't cross our mind.
Hell, I've tried a few times myself and haven't gotten the "Required" jobs (tanks and refreshers be damned, we'll melee burn and I can synth Yag Drinks), only for people to leave shortly after. It's the simple lack of four jobs (or the dreaded "JP ONRY") that can really ***** a party over before it has started.
Another reason why I'm leveling Red Mage now, other than CoP: can make that one extra party a bit more possible for others (Refresh and scaring people ******** when I convert add to that though, I'll admit...).

ya lol i knew it wouldnt work but i wqas really bored so i figured wat the hell
and ya making your own party is pretty hard, rarely any RDM PLD or NIN and WHM lfp at the same time

if capped SAMis what you want then just keep working at it. keep your flag up. keep farming, keep crafting. it might take ya a long time to get to 75, but at least you can have the best gear, food and ammo on the way.
