Making Lakshmi Buddies(Read)Follow

Hey, How are you all! Well im coming back to this game in a week or two and i just wanted to make some buddies on this server before i join it! i'm 19/f/ca Name's: Katie i'm gonna be a TaruTaru/female, gonna be a Lv.18blm then 30whm then Go 75SMN/37WHM. i can Level really fast also i love static party's. i know how to make gil fast but i dont think i'll use 2 astro rings right away, lol can't reamber how to spell it!! opp's.
But hope you guys write me, i would like to meet some of you before i get the game so when i do get on i can talk to you or join your chatting LS's. Well i want to know one thing if you do write me back on here i want to know When i get lv. 20SMN and solo the Avatar's are they hard to beat ?? or kinda easy ? can you fight them again right after you die? ok well i hope you write me back i'll be online for a while see ya!!

I'm willing to solo avatar primes for just about anyone, provided that I'm bored with nothing else to do at the moment (which, granted, is somewhat rare) and I have the forks available. Get the fame and get the tuning fork and give me a tell.

I'm presuming you're not a newbie so you actually know what fame is, yes?

20 avatars are retardedly easy .. use the carby, attack, run, searing light, die carby, recast, etc etc etc method.. you damn near can't lose.. be sure to have a heko obi+1 and dual wield on some hermit wands can't help for spell interruption rate down. Also >.> Hi pots, and ethers.. you can't fail!

Oh.. for Ramuh, and Shiva fight, you should take remedies for paralyze...


and before some lamer noob starts saying shiva doesn't paralyze, I watched her paralyze the wife on her fight..

Shiva inflicts paralyze with her Frost Armor most likely (which gives her Ice Spikes effect). I learned this the hard way once when trying to solo Shiva Prime. Don't melee her and you won't get paralyzed. As far as I know, nothing else she does inflicts paralyze.

Also, Remedies are expensive and not a sure bet at healing Paralyze, because the paralyze effect can stop your item from working (and the item gets used up regardless). You're better off using Paralyna from your subbed /10WHM, Paralyna is learned at 9WHM. You do get your sub available in those fights, right? I'm actually not sure, never did em.

The level 20 fights aren't "retardedly easy" BTW, or else I don't think many people would lose those fights at all.

I don't use any chat interfaces anymore; they take up too much of my FFXI time, even though I play on a PS2. One day I tried booting up MSN while playing FFXI and I gradually noticed the members of my EXP PT were dying alarmingly more often than they should have been (I was the WHM, tee hee), so that put a stop to that. I usually never go on there anymore, too much of a distractor.

I also don't bother with my email as much as I should.

Honestly, most of my communication with people is done through FFXI and POL, simply because I rarely use my comp anymore, and almost everyone I keep in touch with online anymore is also a FFXI player, so it makes things easier on me. Compy only usually gets booted up for checking things like this site and somepage, for quest info and such.

Ok Fynlar i'll write your name down on paper. and talk to you but how will you know it's me? i dont even have a char name yet but ya thats better talking on ffxi i use ps2 also i never go on comp just im bord so i went on to chat and make freinds. So back to what you where talking about before about you soloing the avatars what did you mean ? like i get fame then you lv. 75 i take it or around there can kill it 1v1 and i leach or you got freinds that help? cuz i can get a lv. 75blm and 75rdm or 72sam to help us i know few people from this server, my top 3 buddies are like deathguise, sirlots and kinkykitty. ( but ya i dont know noting really about smn highest i got it was lv. 9 then i died when i was about to get lv. 10 then quit it and went back to my rng/nin. i have played all jobs beside's RDM ^^ reason" there are too many red mages ^^

I don't have my picture anywhere on the internet. Or at least, I damn well better not, because I never put them there.

I'm 75 RDM, I can solo the avatars, provided that their Astral Flow does not do full damage to me. If it lands completely unresisted, it's pretty much instant death for me; that will do 1200-1300 damage through Stoneskin which is more HP than I even have. However, this is pretty damn rare. I've done nearly 25-30 avatar runs and it's only happened to me once.

If you vote Shykre I guarantee you will have friends! (friends come unassembled, view manual on how to assemble them and create your own subservient race of mindless undead that will roam the world and devour souls to add to your undead swarm, see exclusion clause 63B)

Stick with Fyn, he's a good person. He came along and helped me with my LB1 quest without having any clue who I was other than maybe seeing the occasional post here.
