Whats wrong with bastok?Follow

#1 Nov 11 2005 at 11:09 PM Rating: Decent
Why do people completly shrug off Movapolos? If bastok could own that it would be a whole new reigon that the other countries would just pass over. The first thing I do once Im strongg enough is get a pt and kill until bastok owns that place.

no one owns it because people die there more than they kill for exp so it is rather hard to get a hold of that area :/

no one goes in there bc there are almost no safe camps. add that to almost constant links and really annoying mobs (with some funny TP attacks. ie. frying pan) it just isnt a safe spot. I had a party try that once when i was on paladin. First pull was about 3 links.

I am positive that I've seen Movolpolis under Bastokan control a long time ago.

It is not an area elligible for Outpost Teleporting, even if it is controlled by a major nation.

From records that Roukii has compiled (my copies are a few months out of date), San'dOria 2, Bastok 7, Windurst 3. Windurst was the last to hold it in the week starting Monday, April 4th 2005

I've seen JP parties there a few times. There's a few safe camps I can think of, but most of that place I'd have to say is link central. I love going down there and beating a moblin or two. I might see about taking our static down there sometime (if we aren't already too high).

From a cook's perspective, it's a real pity that Movalpolos is contanstly under Beastman control. The Movalpolos regional vendor sells Coral Fungus for a fairly cheap price (at least compared to the current AH prices).

Ya I've been wanting to mow that place over for a while so someone could control it just so I could level up cooking cheaply with the fungus but soon I'll be past that point and won't have a need for it but man you can bet if it does come under control u know what my mules will be stocking for big bucks when we lose control of it for another year lol
