My character's name is Tienria, I'm a loner in Lakshmi. I do most most things
on my own terms, and have been in and out of my Linkshell's (still looking for the right one to call home) due to an attitude problem
I have. I don't deny it, I can be quite unfriendly with many people, and have tried my hardest to fix it, but that itself is another story.
I am here to tell you all of a Linkshell I have recently had a very big dislike for.
This Linkshell goes by the name of UntoldVirtue. They have been seen camping small variety of HNM's..
How they obtained the ToD's is beyond me as I don't really share much with them.
Most recent victory.. if it can even be called that was Serket.. Although they have
spent some time trying to claim on King Arthro.
I don't do this often, but this Linkshell has given me (as well as many others), a headache due
to how they run things.
As it is known, they were quite rude off the bat due to incident with Vahn (VahnFFXI here on VNboards.)
From there on, it did not get any better.. Personally, I see it became worse. I did try to stick with them
and reason with certain decisions but it did not seem to take heed unless you were part of their little 'group.'
Which consisted of Koroku, Druin, Vinny, and Rasuh (Although Rasuh is not a bad person. I think he is just with them as a friend.)
This Linkshell was originally started by Koroku, a Lv 65 BLM created for HNMs/Gods to home for those Lv 68 and above.
It was created with a mixed Linkshell that belonged to Vinny if I recall correctly. (The Linkshell that belongs to Vinny, the name escapes me.)
While, shouting in Jeuno for members does not bother me as I feel all new Linkshell's will begin somewhere. His force to inflict strict rules in the Linkshell did,
of which those rules he had little taste for following.
Koroku - Black Mage / White Mage - Current *known* Level 66. He spends most of his time /anon with his Lv hidden. He at one point did have an underLv'd WHM sub of only 25 that he refused to Lv because it was *boring*. He comes off as the type who doesn't like to Lv his jobs in the first place. Therefore while Druin was on his suspension. He was the one Lv'ing Koroku instead of Koro trying to get his BLM to 70 on his own.
He has come to the prove himself as a child (he is only 14? In the real world if remembered correctly), and nothing more. He is constantly bashing people, spending time in a 'power-controlled' type of personality. He refuses to be polite and instead
becomes quick to order one around as if he owns you. He is creator and main conductor of how the Linkshell operates and what rules will be enforced upon who.
He has come to kick many of their supposed members due to medicore reasons or lack of participation. This participation would include 50% of what they do 'together.'
But perhaps people do not desire to participate for right to lot, but just to enjoy but alas to enjoy the end-game scenery as it is as an adventure.
Druin - 70+ Paladin & Red Mage - Supposed second in command to the Linkshell. Druin while tries to be a good person, seems to be missing a large lack of duties and responsibilities that follow with him. He is constantly
bickering, and complaining about a need for the Linkshell to take on more things, but at the same time are not able to since many members
continue to get kicked everyday. He has a constant knack for whining, but in the end it shows up as his own doing.
He is proven to be a hacker as he was put into 'jail' for 72 hrs due to using a Speedhack openly running about.
Vinny - 75 Warrior - Also a second in command to the Linkshell. Vinny's real age is supposedly older than compared to the others of their 'group. But his personality comes off different.
If a girl says you should leave her alone, by all means it means leave her alone. He shows little signs of respect and dignity when asked for it, and the day he becomes polite will
be a miracle in itself. Also a hack user himself, he had used some.. I do not know what it's called, but it was the first time I have seen it.. The Linkshell had wiped to Brigandish Blade in Sky.
A detector had moved far away enough for me to reraise myself and use a silent oil to sneak myself and zone. He was doing a trick to where his 'dead' body was sliding about on the floor..
Like a wind-force pushing it. While ammusing, was more than known as a hack as he said "I really shouldn't be doing this without sneak & invis." But he did it anyways, and came to zone that way for me to be able to raise.
He as well uses other things such as Speedhacks and little other things that I've heard about. He has also threatened others for insulting him, and planning to hack their I.P for it. Who knows only what I'll get out of this, huh?
Rasuh - 70+ White Mage - While able to be second in command himself, doesn't really follow suit with the other's. Rasuh is an over-all caring & respectful member.
Sadly though, he is their ONLY White mage that can Raise III due to the fact they keep kicking or having to remove their other's or like me, leaving the Linkshell due to it's atmosphere.
Rasuh is very helpful, and can't guarantee he hacks or not, I'd personally like to think he doesn't. He's an over-all fair player, has been a good person to know in the Linkshell, and although he is friends with the others,
just doesn't seem to fit in at all.
Overall, this Linkshell isn't worth the trouble. They have wiped to Zipacna, Brigandish Blade, Suzaku, and who knows what else is next. They're not very organized, or prepared.. They do things on the *spot* (as in ended up doing Hakutaku 3 times in ONE week.)
I have gotten a major headache from dealing with Koroku, Druin & Vinny. They constantly BEG me in /tells asking me to come help raise, or attend something on the spot
which can be hard for me to due since I do have experience points statics, and a Chains of Promathia Static which are more important to me. I will not just drop my exp party in Gustav Tunnel as Summoner because they begged me
and go all the way up into sky to raise them as White Mage and find them dead in Ve'Lugannon Palace. They are desperate, and have been at the very beginning inviting people who JUST turned Lv 60 into the Linkshell
in hopes they WILL meet the standards they have set by the due date they have asked. They have so many rules, and so strict (I've lost many friends made in the Linkshell.) You might as well feel like you're going to have to babysit these people under parents supervision.
I know HNM's and Gods play a BIG ROLE to many people. Don't stick it out if it's stressful. Have fun with it, as everything can be fun even waiting 3 hrs for a stupid HNM to pop. :P

Greedy, I've heard that the literacy rate in the states is at an all time low, so I will let you off on this one :P
I try not to judge people from what others have said, but I do take the knowledge of other peoples experiences into account when I do meet up with these people. I have no issues with them at the moment, probably will never run into them anyhow given the time difference.
So many shell's fighting at the moment, makes me want to build one up with all the solid, honest players that I've met over the past few years.

Koroku.. I feel sorry for each and every person you've invited into the Linkshell. If that's your only retort in defending your right as a group, and as a leader. Perhaps you should give leadership to another person to make your Linkshell work.
Maybe I did come off greedy, just as much as the leaders came off needy. Begged, begged, begged for this White Mage to come help.. I came to help, and as much as I do enjoy helping people, low and high Lv'd alike, I find to a point where a payment is due. You consider yourself a God/HNM LS. But alas you cannot follow through. You have nothing to be greedy over. You even have an LS bank that has been empty for almost a MONTH.

I'm getting pretty tired of defending this LS, mostly beacause what most poeple say is true. It's hard to find a good HNM/Dynamis LS, so once you get in one you don't want it to die. That's how it is for me. I don't like how our LS creator is way underlvled, but I don't really have a choice. Druin and Vinny are better, but yes they do hack...which i can't say i like. Just because the leaders aren't perfect, however, doesn't mean the other members aren't great. Rasuh, Stiffmeister, Takki, and many many others are people that make the game more fun, so it would blow to just leave them. Besides, we may not get the toughest HNMs, but we still do enough to satisfy me for now. Still only a Mnk70/War35, but i'll get there.
To you Tienria...yes you were in the LS for a while and i'm glad to see a friend leave, but I can't say i blame you. I can't say you were the most active member of the LS...In fact i don't think you gave a **** about it at all really, specially with the way you acted, but You'll be missed none the less.

okay.... Some issues became addressed and I should post them, so people have certain facts straight.. considering I'm getting yelled at by Vinny for it.
The first Genbu run they did.. the same one of which Vahn warped out shortly after during Suzaku and got kicked for it. Aquarian Abjuration Hands dropped. Let's be aware, these are LV73 Zenith Mitts which are meant to be for BLM AND RDM first come first serve.
This has ALWAYS Been my understanding. But I had received them and gotten right to lot. I don't regret it because the highest BLM there was Koroku. Lv 65! Who is only still 66~68 at the moment.
I, on the other hand was able to equip Zenith Mitts.
As well as Genbu's Shield dropped who didn't go to the RDM (Vahn) at the time because he was 'new' to the Linkshell but instead went to a Lv 67 WHM who still is by far from being able to equip it.
I DID Attend their Serket victory in which I went in hopes for Serket's Ring. I did cure the battle.. went down to 13MP (joy) and started to /heal until full unless I needed to get up to cure due to the fact the other WHM (Rasuh) Had gotten K.O'd during battle and was trying to unweaken. Serket had gotten down to 2%~ish and I got up, Elemental Seal'd, casted Banishing spells, including Holy. Guaranteed the damage was only great from Banish III, It still helped in killing Serket since 7/12 people were dead. I helped Raise'd then left shortly after. I was surprised that they did actually get Serket but still it was the last thing I desired to attend with them. YES I BEGGED FOR SERKET'S RING.. when I was told I couldn't have it. YES I ASKED FOR V.CLAW For my THF & NIN. But even when they said no, I still helped them with Serket.
I came off Greedy, don't deny it. Am glad to have obtained Zenith Mitts though for use on my SMN & WHM. I don't use people often, but if you're going to be rude, cheat, and have me stick around. I wouldn't mind getting at least a "thank you" here and there for helping out on MY Time. But didn't get that, so I hoped for a little extra from Serket.

Ok, a few things that I would like to address as leader of this linkshell. Firstly, Tienria was kicked from our linkshell due to a number of reasons, a few being- lack of participation, greed, constantly bringing a negative attitude upon the shell, blatent disrespect for authority (ex: screaming at linkshell leaders in front of others, insisting we do things HER way and if we didn't do things her way she would complain, etc.), as well as being a member of another HNM/Gods linkshell (which by all universal HNM/Gods linkshell standards, is taboo).
In addressing the greed factor, I would like to start off by saying that as it was, Tienria had hardly met the minimum lotting requirements by only showing up to as many events as it took to allow her to lot, and no more. Once we allowed her to lot on the abjuration for Zenith Mitts from Genbu, we NEVER seen Tienria show up at a single event thereafter, with the exception of Serket, and that only being because she had her own personal agenda of lotting on Serket's ring if it was to drop. As far as her not being allowed to lot on the ring, I can explain it rather simplisticly: another member of the shell that was present at the Serket fight held precedent over Tienria's lotting rights simply due to the amount of event points that he held over hers (which is not surprising, due to the fact that she failed to participate in most of our events). When told that she was not allowed to lot on Serket's ring if it was to drop, she threw a fit, and DEMANDED that she get the Venemous Claw if it was to drop. Now at this point, I leave it up to you the audience to form your opinion- How was I to let her lot on the claw when she has not been seen even playing a job that requires a Scorpion Harness as far as she has been playing the game? ESPECIALLY giving respect to others in the shell that play jobs every day such as Thief, that still NEEDED a SH. Case closed.
In regards to her peformance while actually participating: Many others aside from myself are able to bear testimony and witnessed that during the Serket fight, Tienria did not fully perform her duties as a white mage, and failed to cure many of us, resulting in a few of us wiping. Instead of curing me (which I might add, I had received NO cures from her whatsoever), she was casting spells such as Banish, and Holy on Serket, which served little to no purpose in the contribution to its defeat.
Tienria has also been seen holding casinos in Lower Jeuno, and from these said casinos, she claims to have made decent income. Given respect to this, she still (as a level 74 whm) wears a lvl 1 festival body piece, and fails to give consideration to anything of more value. Now I might ask- where is the usefullness in this?
From the first day Tienria was given a pearl to my shell, I have had members send me tells in regards to her negative attitude, and lackluster consideration of others. Being a fair leader, I had told them to wait it out, and I had continued to give Tienria a fair chance to prove her worth.
I regret that circumstance has lead to such an event as this, but in conclusion, Tienria was not a team player, and was not condusive to us advancing as a whole. As a result, the other leaders and I felt it neccessary to expel her from the shell, with support from the majority of our members. I hold no grudge upon Tienria, and wish her the best of luck in finding an HNM/Gods linkshell that suits her needs more efficiently in the future.

Yep, that's me. You have me down to a pat.. Oh noes what am I going to do? Yea.. I wear a Lv 1 festinal Omina Yukata. Because it looks good mixed with WHM AF2 ~_^ For exp pt's I wear an Errant Hpl. (Borrowed from a friend)..
Kinda wrong to accuse me of running a casino, but yes, I have infact run a casino on and off since my return back. I had supposedly 'quit' and thought I did back of July 31st 2005. Sold everything and gave the gil to my close friend in which he used to buy the best DRK gear in hopes of speeding up his Lv'ing process. So basically I was a WHM with 0 money and still yearn to this day for what may seem like a waste to others, is a Noble's Tunic for myself.
I have not scammed anyone.. Feel free to ask people I did play with and tried my luck. Yea, I've obtained gil, Yes, I've lost LOTS Of gil that made me sad, but I stayed honest and didn't ***** anyone over. The leader Koroku runs a casino as well. So does hmm.. I shall save face to name but at least 5 other people in UntoldVirtue who do to this day run casino's. Show's how useful the LS is. :P But considering my broke, I borrowed 1.5mil from a friend (feel free to ask for names later. I'll answer honestly)(In which I did have to pay back) and they told me to start up a casino for them and IF I was lucky enough to make a few mil, I could buy gear to better suit the jobs I play which at the moment are WHM, SMN, THF, and NIN.
And since I've saved up enough to buy gear for both THF & NIN to Lv well. I plan to get them to 75 and have quit the casino business. I will have a job that I can Lv, and farm my way and work on a Noble's Tunic in the distance future. I still yearn for one and plan to get it over due's time, for now WHM is put aside but still play it for the HNM scene.
I'm not trying to win any awards, or show people off. I know I do stupid things, but I had to work my way to a lot of it. Plus thinking I would quit FFXI permanently screwed me up a lot. I've given away free gil to those who needed it, among those who have been scammed by the real false casinos. (Ask Kiriyama and Nilla, may not be your favorite people, but I have been honest in my deeds.)
As for attending event's, many people do know I attend constantly. I attended god farmings (where UV wiped) as well as Hakutaku, which you had to do THREE times over. Even then, I kept track of where you were there for 10 hrs+ which is just insane. I love god farming, I love the creatures in sky, but why go when you know they're going to wipe. They usually do. Anyhow, if anyone has any other questions. Feel free to ask. I have nothing to hide. If you turn to hate me, so be it. As stated I play a lot of this game as a loner. My previous trips have messed up my chances for a lot of things in this game. But in time, everyone gets what they desire, might not be for a year, but hey.. I have fun in the game. And no matter how many people hate me, or turn against me. I'm not going to quit. I know that now, because FFXI has a lot to offer for me.. One thing is the fact it's a time-killer. :P Anyhow.. I will have a job that I can Lv, and farm my way and work on a Noble's Tunic in the distance future. I still yearn for one and plan to get it over due's time, for now WHM is put aside but still play it for the HNM scene.
I'm not trying to win any awards, or show people off. I know I do stupid things, but I had to work my way to a lot of it. Plus thinking I would quit FFXI permanently screwed me up a lot. I've given away free gil to those who needed it, among those who have been scammed by the real false casinos. (Ask Kiriyama and Nilla, may not be your favorite people, but I have been honest in my deeds.)
As for attending event's, many people do know I attend constantly. I attended god farmings (where UV wiped) as well as Hakutaku, which you had to do THREE times over. Even then, I kept track of where you were there for 10 hrs+ which is just insane. I love god farming, I love the creatures in sky, but why go when you know they're going to wipe. They usually do. Anyhow, if anyone has any other questions. Feel free to ask. I have nothing to hide. If you turn to hate me, so be it. As stated I play a lot of this game as a loner. My previous trips have messed up my chances for a lot of things in this game. But in time, everyone gets what they desire, might not be for a year, but hey.. I have fun in the game. And no matter how many people hate me, or turn against me. I'm not going to quit. I know that now, because FFXI has a lot to offer for me.. One thing is the fact it's a time-killer. :P Anyhow.. Saying that we wipeout to most monsters in the sky is indeed a fallacy. Most monsters? No. Some monsters? yes. We wiped out to Brigandish Blade ONCE because the only person who was there at the moment that was able to equip the blade to finish BB was dead, and the AOE became a bit of a problem to keep up with as time progressed. Only other wipes aside from BB was once to Suzaku, and once to Zipcana (because the only whm at the time had to log with no exaggeration the SECOND Zip popped, and Tienria: another whm, refused to comply with the linkshell's god farming schedule which I might add never changes). The wipe to Suzaku came from honest mistake, one of our DRKs at the time failed to use stun on time, and as a result we wiped, no big deal- it was our first Suzaku fight. Lesson learned. In referrence to the Hakutaku fight, we only fought Hakutaku twice, so doing the fight three times over is news to me. First fight with Hakutaku went bad due to people that had to log off. That cannot be helped, people have real life duties they need to fulfil, that is something in which I hold no power over. The second Hakutaku run I was unable to attend, so that much I cannot comment on.

I personally am not a big fan of casinos, but I will not condemn a person for holding/participating in one, as it is their own choice. To each their own.

Im not 14 and our ls had order and once you entered your tired coming and telling us how to run out LS. We kicked you out of our ls because your greedy. Once you got your Z-mitts which for some reason you got. You havnt done anything until i give you a tell saying were camping Serket come help us. Yet you werent even needed because you werent cureing during the fight just casting Banish 2 and Holy...?
You know nothin about me Druin, Vinny, And Rasuh. Nothin about our lifes or what we do. I let Druin level koroku for a few days because i was useing my other Char Ausrine. If you thought our ls wasnt good then just leave dont try to use us and try to tell us what to do. Do our Server a favor and stop being so greddy.

As i am not high enough for gods/HNM i do not know the unwritten code, but i cant see me caring if a member of my ls is in another as i understand that my ls may not be always doing exciting things or talkative all the time... so i dont know it just seems to me that if you are a LS leader your there to help the members in your ls, not use them to help kill gods/HNM.
even if it is thier first run.. they were there helping and you may or may not have been able to make it through without them and if nothing else.. if he was able to equip it right then and there when no one else could. you should "give" it to him as you can always do more runs later.
(once again i do not know ANYTHING about gods, so I dont know if it takes special items that are impossible to get) but id rather make friends/permanant member of ls then get an item i cant equip in 10 levels.

lmfao, I used to be in this shell. I wanted a HNM ls and this one had a lot of members, albeit all underlevelled bar a few (I mean under 65). But I thought, meh, they will level. Well during the time I was there, nothing really happened apart from attempts at claiming KA and Behemoth. Well, Behemoth never got claimed, they claimed KA a couple of times, out of like 30 attempts, and even wiped to KA once... God knows how, its like the weakest HNM in the game by far. Anyway, yeah, Koroku really should level his job to post 70, not much use below 70. As for wiping on the lesser gods? O.O I think thats unheard of...
At the end of the day, this ls does very little, and when it does, it does it ridiculously badly. I was at Serket when they were wiping, and I was laughing my head off for hours afterwards... who has deaths whilst fighting a duo-able HNM? It can only be UV, lmao.
Also, Vinny, you really should stop hacking, you are gonna get a permamnent ban, you have been jailed and warned once before.

Ive never been in this shell and never want to be there ldr is very childish.
Yes ive heard they hacked ivenever seen it so i wont go there. But i camped KA with Dios sometimes i like killing **** with friend since currently i have no HNM/God shell but tis not like i couldnt get one rather easyly being a BRD 75/Thf74 with a good rep and good at both my job. Well i was camping KA and they were there camping against us i dont care there free to camp what they want its jsut more comp oh well. Well as were camping Koro Kept examining me once every min or so. which i dont mind ppl examining me hell if i care but when someone keeps comsistanly examining you for no reason it gets on your nerves so i ask like this. {please} stop examining me. After this him and 1 or 2 other spam examine me for aobut 2 min to **** me off. Which is very childish for no reason ive never done anything to him before that point.

Well, it's been a long time since I've played FF11 and the last HNM/Gods LS I've had was not successful but there have been the same prevalent issues in each of the LSes which I would like to address.
The first being that some people use HNM/Gods LSes as a means to be an elitist and selfish in obtaining the "best" armor or weapons in the game. Now, there's nothing wrong with wanting your relic set, but in order to obtain those, you must be willing to work with others which is something that I find most HNM/Gods LSes to be lacking.
Second of all, many people take this game way too seriously. I can understand how one would want to get far in the game and do well, but some take it too far. And we all know that this subject can be shady so I will give an example, harboring grudges against people for things like not showing up to events or lotting or any other issue that could be easily resolved if people would take the time to talk things out or just not sweat the small stuff.
I'm not saying anyone is wrong here. I've BCNMed with Tienria and I found her to be cool and collected. As well, I've met Koroku and Vinny and I haven't had the same experiences that were alluded to in other posts. Granted, I am not saying one party or the other is without fault or the antagonists, but I would just like to end this post reminding people to calm down and enjoy the game. After all, that's what it is, a game. I wish the best for the people in the argument, and hopefully, maybe there will be LSes as someone mentioned before that are honest and helpful, something I would like to create or at least be a part of.

Didn't we just have another post on this same LS a week or two ago about the 65BLM that started a HNM/God shell and had an underleveled sub and all that?
There should be age requirements for making LSs of any kind.....In fact....after the entire Intyoda thing, I wish there was some kind of screening process in this game.

I got tired of reading the thread, and my head hurt whenever I saw those poor excuses for grammar that some people posted, so instead of posting something relavent, I'm going to say hi to Tienria and Miang, who I haven't seen in forever!!! Hi!! =D

Actually.. I've heard that Koru is, in fact, 14. Why deny your age? No worries on the keyboarding classes, you still have plenty of time to finish those up, you're young yet. However, if I were you, I *would* focus more in my Reading class than keyboarding. That is, of course, unless your typing speed is directly proportional to your inability to spell.
I've talked to some members of this LS, and the basic underlying consensus is that everything that Tie said is correct..
Now.. I'm not IN this LS, but I know some of the people in it.. And I have been periodicaly privvy to internal content.
From the sounds of things, the only thing holding this LS together is the positive attitude of Druin and Rasuh, and a few really cool key members not in leadership roles (LOL No.. you don't fall into this category, Nifrot, you complete asshat.)
If these few key members were to haul off and start their own HNM/Dynamis LS, some of the "better" members would gladly follow suit.
Word is that Druin is going to be hanging up his adventuring hat for a few weeks/months in an effort to concentrate on and be more productive in school or some such nonsense. :P
During this period of Druin's hiatus, it's assumed that this linkshell will more than likely be going the way of the dodo anyway. Unfortunately, Druin is the only one who speaks whatever kind of language it is that Koru butchers. Or maybe he just has the ability to talk louder and more intelligibly.
Vinny's going to have a hard time running things, as the ancient monkey tablet of Koru-speak decryption was accidentally broken during one of the last 11 huricanes. I don't envy you your position Vin.
Aside from the obvious drama, they tend to rush head-long, unprepared into battles they have no business doing.
Hint: If you only have 2 tanks in your entire alliance, you're not going to survive past the second mob in dynamis. If you really want to just blow a million gil, I can think of at least 5 people in your linkshell that could actually use the money so they don't have to run a casino in an effort to have the gil that everyone in other HNM/Dynamis linkshells have by being successful.
Hint: If your entire alliance consists of 3 parties of 3 individuals per party, that god is going to hand you your ***. EXPing for level 70 the 90th time isn't as fun as it was the first time.
I posted this for not other reason than to show you what your linkshell looks like to an outsider. I know, shove off, and mind my own business. Just realize that current "outsiders" are the people who are going to potentially make up the ranks of your linkshell after you kick everyone you've recruited thus far, or they simply leave when they realize that none of you are getting anywhere due to poor leadership and disorganization.
I have nothing against you Koru, or anyone in the LS really. I want you to succeed. I'm simply afraid that this isn't possible under the current circumstances. I hope that you will take everything I've said here as the constructive criticism that it is intended to be, and not as a general flame.
Again, I am not a member of this, or any other HNM/Dynamis LS. I don't even remotely qualify. But if I did, with the current situation, I can safely say that this LS wouldn't be my first pick.. or my tenth pick.. or my ten thousandth pick.
