Aptfury - KSNM30 9/15/05 - payment {Can I have it?}Follow

I would like to start off by saying, I believe I'm a fair guy.
We do KSNM30 runs every thursday at 7pm est, i keep track of the people, the orbs used, and the items dropped. I treat it as a business of sorts, people use our service, we enter a verbal contract based upon them trading the orb of which, 60% of the gil is kept and they pay us out 40%, looking at our runs vs other ksnm30 runs a orb older can make:

Example: 1mil gil
60/40 split run: 600k orb holder and 400k blm group (100k/blm)
other split runs: orb holder + 4 blm = 200k each

we do this for 4-6hrs (really, when the last orb is used, we leave, on this occasion we stayed until after 1am)

Aptfury obtained Damascene Ingot and Adaman Ingot, those being the higher priced items. I watch the AH after these runs to see who has sold their items and I know when i can expect to pay my BLM. Damascene Ingot sold same day as run 5.8mil and Adaman Ingot sold same day 400k, total of 6.2mil gil.

i had received payment from everybody from this run by sunday.
seeing that aptfury had sold the items and i had not yet received the blm payment for our services, i contacted him asking when he would think we could expect our payout.

aptfury went on to inform me, he had spent the money buying cross-counters and did not have the gil to pay us, he said he had about 1.5mil, i asked if we could please receive atleast half of our payment and we would work on the rest with him.
he said he would send the half of the payment, i said ok, do you think we could get the other half by thursday. (this was us conversing via /tell on sunday 9/18)

along the lines, he seemed to get heated regarding the discussion, i dont recall exactly how it was said, but he said something to the effect, that we are lucky he decided to even pay us at all. i asked flat out if he was going to pay us out, he said i told you i would send half of the gil, why didnt you just shut up and not question it, i didnt think i was getting involved with a loan shark. i responded that others had sold their items and i was simply following up on why we had yet to receive our payment from him, due to him already selling the stuff and that in trading his orb he entered into a verbal agreement on the 60/40 split.

since that day, i have not sent him a tell, i have waited patiently, checking my inbox daily for payments so i can pay my blm and to be honest, yes, pay myself. yesterday i was looking around, thinking of buying an amemet mantle +1 and i saw his name on 9/22/05 for buying this item. My question is, where is our pay out on this 6.2mil, we arent asking for a 5 way split between the 4blm and orb holder, we're asking for 10% per blm, that is 40%.

i am posting this, because everytime im sitting around crafting, i do a search on aptfury and he is never online, yet he has made a purchase on 9/22 which would have covered half of our payment. Aptfury, i would really appreciate the 40% of the 6.2mil. you can see this as a loan shark attitude, i see it as a business transaction, we provided you with a service and you are failling to pay for services rendered.

also, other ksnm30 runs, please take note of this persons name so as not to get burnt as well.

this is not to flame, we simply want our payment for our services, if/when i do receive the 40% of the 6.2mil, i will gladly entirely erase this post.

I've been told that Aptfury is some High lvl's mule. I don't know who's but this guy has a lot of money. I know this because of the equipment I see he buys when searching for the equipment I wanted for my mnk. Scorpion Harness, TM hooks +2, CC's and anything really expensive for a First job Monk, he has. So if he is somebody's mule he should definately know better. I'll be sure to spread the word.

so quindinartoo aka aptfury, can be offically put on a dead beat list if any ksnm30 teams like to keep hassles like this out of their runs.... also speaks greatly towards the person's trustability in anything. flat out said never had any intention of paying.

From what I've heard about other runs like this, it's not an uncomman thing to happen. As said in the other thread, your Word is your Honour.

Aptfury is a 65 Monk. He has a severe problem with Japanese people, and while searching for party, puts "If you are RMT, Go **** yourself" in his comment. Just thought i'd chime that in, I saw him LFP a few weeks ago.

Quindinartoo ditched the character. Why else did I see Aptfury sell Kungfu shoes, Scorp Harness, Brown belt, Amemet Mantle +1, and other of Aptfury's Godly MNK equips all within 2 days?

He's taking the gil, throwing away the character (since Apt's reputation has been ruined) and jumping ship.
