My curiousity is getting the better of me. This has absolutely nothing to do with FF.
I am just curious if everyone is getting hurt with gas prices as I am in NY.
On my way home last night from work I passed a station, gas was 3.09, on my way to work this morning it was 3.39. How many other people are dealing with same same huge jumps ?

$3.30-3.60 for Regular, and $3.60-4.00 for Ultra in Maryland. o_O...Certainly becoming out-of-hand IMO.

Let's see... I paid $2.45 last Saturday here in Arkansas. The next day it was $2.70. (Good timing on my part. ^^) I haven't seen the price today, but as it was 2.99 yesterday, I'd be willing to bet its broken $3.00 now. And yeah, it sucks. Especially since I gotta drive home for the holiday tomorrow. >.<

It was 3.20 out in town yesterday (Havelock, NC)and they capped it off at 2.48 on base but they keep running out. My grandmother in law died the day before yesterday but we aren't going to the service because gas in Atlanta is getting close to $6 a gallon and my husband is on stand by to deploy to Louisiana.

I live in Northern Virginia and it has gone up about 40 cents since last night. Regular gas is sitting at $3.49/gallon now. Which REALLY sucks since I have a mini-van. There are also signs up saying "only buy what you need." So no one can fill up gas cans for later use.

So far everyone in Florida is running around and hoarding gas which is always funny as hell to watch. Down here gas has hit 2.99 the last time I checked but has dropped to 2.79 in some places from what I heard.
All I have to say is thank goodness I drive a Japanese Car (Nissan) and a Japanese Motorcycle (Honda)!

Australia: Ever since the war our petrol has gone nuts. We used to get it for $0.63AUD/Ltr (5 years back), it's now hit $1.20AUD/Ltr

Not sure on the conversions and stuff, but 1AUD buys $0.75USD atm I think, and if a Litre is 1/4 a Gallon, then we are paying nearly $4USD a Gallon.

In Wisconsin it's 3.49 a gallon. Used to be around 3.25.

We have a 49 cent per gallon state tax on ours which is 2nd highest state. They are trying to cut that in half & also raise our speed limits. So in essence it will just cost more to drive faster. go figure.

Might want to get an update on that. Last I heard is that the places charging $5.89 where on the news and popped for price goudging(sp?). I dunno how accurate my source is, but that is kinda steep when everywhere else is in the 2.99-3.19 range. (This excludes places that add tax like Chicago, IL)

In the South Island of New Zealand, the fuel prices for Premium Unleaded is (I converted this myself, so it may be a little out) - $4.42 p/Gallon.

Considering I have to drive my car over 100km each DAY, and my car is a performance vehicle, you're looking at one VERY sad litte Psylight with no money! (Hell, at this rate, I'll need to get a second job just to afford going to my first job!)

here in missisippi its about 3$ a gallon, when there is gas. its so scarce right now. when theres gas, theres huge lines..... people filling up buckets and stuff.. its sickening... but there is alot of diesel.

i went to fill up today, all they had was mid-grade, 2.93.
Woo ******* hoo. 2 octane numbers higher.
normal was 2.81. cheaper gas? [ yes please. ]

Five years ago, gas in WA was less than $2 per gallon. Now it's about $2.89 per gallon. Some Ma & Pa stores had to close down, kinda sad.
