Wondering if I may be able to come along? Almost 62RDM (If I push I may get to 63 by Sunday). I've done ZM4 so you don't have to drag me through there unless you want me to "help" and I've finished all the soloable parts of ZM5. If I'm too low I understand, but if at all possible I'd really like to go. ^^

lol, you guys are funny. "Anyone think the first party is stacked?" Hell yeah it is!!!! lol.

Naw its all good. Im envisioning having to change parties up for battles if need be. I will review the list prior to kickoff and try to balance the parties as much as possilbe.

I'm not to excited bout making stops along the way. We can do a wait and "see" on that one.

Im hoping to get as far as possible with everyones willingness to stick it out.

^^

Slight problem that I'll have to go afk for around half an hour somewhen 1-2 hours after this starts x_x hopefully this won't intefere too badly. Other than that, thanks to the time difference, I won't have any interruptions (everyone else in the house will be asleep)

However, being a sunday, I have school the next day (yes, still -_-) and have to be up at 7am. Thanks to the time difference, this will be running pretty late for me... I don't really know how long we were planning on running this for, but I've heard that some of the missions take a very long time, and a lot of time running around in between. 8-10 hours at most here really, preferably the lower.

As for the party setups... I'd say it'd probably be better to just rearrange the parties and do more runs. If we have to do the BCNM with 4 different parties, even 6 or whatever, fine. If it's safer, more chance of success, less chance of death, that's good. I'd rather that than go in with no tank or healer or whatever, think we'll be fine, and end up dying (although I am expecting to probably die a few times on this, it'd be nice to limit it ^^)

lol. I was kidding. I knew you were just listing people as they signed up, I just found it amusing that the first party was so stacked.

There is no room for learning on ZM8. If you look the other way for a moment, you're going to die. DIIIIIEE!~!!!!! j/k

Those that have been through it before will probably give out pointers along the way.

Haha, yeah my party suggestion wasn't due to any stacking, I was just suggesting more balanced parties as some of these fights need standard setups to win... /shudder ZM8

No no Shultz. Not your party lineup, I actually think those would do quite well. I was referring to Draconian's original post when he listed people as we signed up. Again, just a joke.

hehe, yeah I knew which one you were talking about. Just wanted to make my post clear that I wasn't saying to go with mine "because mine is better", just wanted to suggest to level the parties out.

All good though, I'm not going to complain what teams are made ^^

I loved your setup. Nice and balanced all around to get through the BCs with ease. I have the strangest feeling that I'm going to be thoroughly exhausted by the time we're done. Tanking multiple BC fights...multiple times, that ought to keep me on my toes^^

Crap, I'm having difficulty leveling up for some reason ><.

Yesterday I tried to get WHM from 31 to 32 in Garbage ********* and it was like everytime I cast cure, in real life I got up from my desk, and banged my head against a wall.

When 1 hour passed, there were 7 holes in my walls..

XP grinds are no fun ; ;

On the same note, I hit 65 last night and only need 15k for 66. Hoping to hit 66 before Sunday at noon (EST) to make tanking a tad easier (new Katanas).

No luck levelling today... it's all down to how much time I have tomorrow and how long it takes to get a party. May or may not be 63 by sunday =/

I played for 16 hours today to level up from 62 with 16000 EXP to 64 with 6000 EXP.

I think my eyes are bleeding. Must sleep now, danger of death is very high.

I'll get WHM to 32 for sub tomorrow, but thats as good as it gets, I won't have time due to RL issues to get 65, unfortunately. I tried my best :\.

I deleveled from 68 because of a gob link while campng Mystic. Another mage near me "Edman" wouldn't help out at all. Some people I swear, they are beyond greedy when it comes to this game. I can solo the gobs there no problem, I just had one link cause I didn't see it while I was fixing my GF's PC. I slept it, then kept going, slept it again. Then by the time I got back to it I was nearly dead, and he was just standing there.

Really makes me so damn mad.

Got WHM32 this morning, and bought Erase. My wallet is so light :\.

So thats RDM64/WHM32. Oh, and about the reset hate thing..

I never actually killed a Tonberry. When I was in Temple of Uggalepih for my Hornetneedle, my DRG friend killed them for me. I attacked one, but never actually killed it. Do I have to reset my hate then?

Even if it counts for just attacking, I mean, its just one right? Or should I clear hate anyway?

Edit: Oh, and on behalf of everyone, thanks for setting up the run, I'm sure we all appreciate it Draconian :).

No Metah, you're fine. Only the person who lands the killing blow has to clean hate.

On a different note, I got 66 last night and killed Maat on my second try. I uh...screwed up shadow count because of nervousness and got wrecked. Second try he didn't even touch me until Mijin Gakure > Dragon Kick, at which point I hit him once and he gave up. Woot for all Genkais complete. Working on a buffer since I'm only 71xp into 66, but I'll head down into Hell tonight for the map. Just send a /tell.

See you all tomorrow ^^
