last evening i helped Atticusblack get rank 2 sandoria. What i want to know is, does anyone know this person? The reason i ask is because he was offering 50k for someone to take him to jeuno, and once i said id do it he offered me 25k to get him rank 2 first. he is a lvl 21 war/mnk with the entire HQ set of lizard gear, a +1 sword, and 2 balance rings. At this point i was semi-confused on how he had so much gil, but i didnt worry about it. so i tell him to follow me and i make my way to ghelsba for an axe, but within 10 seconds he is gone, and i turn around to see where he went. As it turns out, he doesnt know how to autorun, and only holds down the move button for a few seconds at a time. after about an hr of this, we finally finish all the missions, and he does pay me the 25k, but i had to log out to let my brother on. After this story, i was just wondering if anyone knows him, cause i think he bought the character and the gil on the internet. any insight is appreciated.

From your description I would have to say you are right on the mark. I don't know him but OMG... I know what you are thinking when he has all that gear and doesn't know Autorun... Autorun was the first thing I learnt... and oh boy was it the best thing ever... pity I can't use it in CS >_<

870mil is that possible to get solo ? Like how many NM's would one have to camp and successfully get the drop and sell them... ack!
I just got done helping with a garlaige citadel coffer key and I get a tell from him asking if he can buy my character for $450 a month(70pld/35war) >_> so I do /sea all Atticusblack lvl 20 war with no sub so I tell him to go back to the dunes and get a sub then come back to jeuno and that it isnt that hard to lvl to 70 just takes sometime to get there and he sends another tell about 15 mins later saying $600 a month so at this point I black list him..

by the way, after doing the math, 870 million gil totals to about $120,000 US. And that doesnt even include the character he obviously bought as well.

so I run into him again and he pokes me tell I unblacklist him and he says he will pay me 150k to pl and 200k if it's fast so I say yes and pl his pt... he was puller >_< every pull was about 3-4 bats and a gobbie... but in the end he said he had school so I'm guess he is from japan and not NA but I ended up making 150k in 2 hours ^^
I saw that happen in Jeuno Darklink. Was talking to Vise to help me with 400 EXP TNL and was invited to a PT right then and there.

Hmm...saw him online around midnight pst last night. He is shouting in Lower Jueno asking for pl for 150k each lv. **** off tons of player as he is very picky on the pler. He only will take 60+ player to pl him.
That is outright insane:

I find this very hard to fathom. First of all, I think that maybe he got that amount of gil at a bulk discount (Jeez, someone who buys gil in bulk... where's he shop...Gilco?), since $120,000 is pure insanity. (If I sell my house....carry the 2...) The amount of discount is anyones guess, but I'm sure he only paid 75-80% of total added cost. And since it is virtually impossible for one person to raise that much gil ingame unless he was a crazy *** (who would know people to power him for free), I must suspect the worst. I have no idea how much Gil a company like IGE has horded, but I'm sure it isn't to the tune of almost 900,000,000 Gil. He must have gone to ebay, and bought several other people out to get that.
Crap, I lost my main topic thinking about the sheer amount...
Anyways, thats a mother trucker amount of gil. -Muon

On a side note, does anyone know the lastest or greatest amount of money Gates has? Or what Rockafeller's riches would amount to considering inflation? It would be intresting to convert all their money to Gil, just to see how many Bronze Subligars they could buy (or possibly San D'Oria). Anyways, have a nice day guys. - -Muon
