I got this quest like a month ago it seems. I totally forgot about it ;; Well, I bought the bow and the ring, and went to my MH. TRIED to trade them, but when I did, it only opens up the regular menu: storage, delivery, blah blah. I cannot finish this damn thing. Yes, I did this at my home MH btw. Is there a way to reset it, or something? Help me please...there must be a way! The quest is still active in my log, so idk what the prob is >.<

Did you target the Moogle, open your menu, select "trade," select the items from the trade menu that pops up, and then hit enter? Since you said the Moogle is simply opening up your mog house commands, it sounds like you may nto actually be trading it the items.

Yep, I'm going through the trading motions just like I would with a tele-taxi. Only when I hit ok, the Mog opens up the normal windows for: delivery, mog safe, storage, etc. He hasn't said jack about the quest since way back when :( I even took the bed outta my house for a few days (rlf) put it back in and waited a few more days....nothing.
Target moogle, press "-" button, trade.
Did that work? Or it sounds like you tried it already...

Yep, I still have the bed....and the beetle earring, and the power bow....../sigh. And after spending 50k last night on Gobby Bag I/II

Do you have a Beetle ring or Beetle earring? They both exist, and the moogle wants the ring, not the earring.
So yesterday, I decide one more time to do this. I check my mog, and yes I have the power bow and beetle earring. Then I think about it for a minute.....power bow....beetle earring.....hmmm. Then I check the quest again in my book, these are the items needed:
1 power bow [x]
1 beetle ring [x] ....wait...I have a beetle earring....motherfu!
So, I buy the beetle ring and he takes the bow and the ring ^^
I'm so tarded. I just checked this thread, and saw that Sylvons said what I should have noticed all this time: beetle ring not beetle earring lol. Thankx, i shoulda read this yesterday.

Sheesh, I should do the 2nd upgrade soon, when I last went on basically all my inventory (40 slots), mog safe (60 slots) and the total 80 slots on my mule were all full. Damned crafting.
