This event was fun! ^_^ I loved roaming around Bastok as different mobs, especially the Shade! And the best part of the event was the candy. I made over god knows how much gil. I noticed people spiking regular pie for 1,000 gil a PIECE! So, I undercut them to 600 gil and made over 50k per run. They caught on and lowered their price too, while I lowered mine even more, down to 500, 400, and I sold out. Bought my Dark Staff with this money. ;) I literally pwned Bastok. That money making scheme is pointless now. ;P

Yeah I did the same things with the Eggs... left like 7 in my Bazaar @5k each, came back after going to a BBQ and well.... 35k sitting there for me ^^

And I heard this event cost lots of money, not gained you money, lol.

I'm sure we'll all be bored of it by the end of the weekend though =/

Aye, is very sad ppl taking advantage of the good spirit of the Great Pumpkin by jacking prices up to 5k and greater for a stack of apple pies. People selling their oranges and other sweets for "great bargains" at the low low price of 300-600 gil. The mules selling their oranges, grapes and apples for 100-200gil a pop, ugh.
Sure, this was/is a great money making exploit, but for the n00bs who know not what they're doing, it's a bit....no it is totally BS.
I emptied my inventory, and went to sandy and bought 10 stacks each of oranges, grapes, and apples. I shouted out to n00bs who were interested in a great deal on sweets, and only traded to someone with a level below 10 and no subjob. It took a bit longer, but when they got 1 apple, grape or orange for 1 gil, I think it was worth my time. Sure, I lost some money....but when I sold stacks of rolanberries for 2.5k a piece, I made it back and then some. Yes, I too fleeced the spirit of Halloween, but only to the ppl who were making pies. So, I contributed to the great circle of extortion somehow, lol. Steal from the rich (or trying to get rich) and give to the poor.
