I am looking for 2 more officers for Benevolence (sack holders), now, I dont want to make it that simple as to just "giving" away pearlsacs i want it to be good people who are knowledgeable in specific fields like AF's, Genkai's, EF's, etc. etc.

I just feel I am getting a bit stressed trying to control alot of these kind of things and it was really good, at one point, Contuar (THANX!!) did a Rank 5 for alot of the people in Bene. I want to keep this going, I want people to orginize events within Bene and then things will be all gravy.

Now onto what this thing might consist of:
I want to have like to have the canadiates do a "Quest" but through real characters, not NPC's and have them do pretty hard things to get points twoards the final score of being an officer, since there is only two spots i would like to make it as hard as someone that is going to be an officer in the military.

I have one idea, but I would like to get some suggestions on a couple more things I could do to torture *cough* recruit two more officers. :p

*Forgot something else: Who is allowed to partisipate?
Anyone is allowed to help be a outside viewer or a person who wants to help get these people become Officers. Now as for people who can become officers, people who have been in Benevolence for at least 15 days and has competed 3 advanced jobs and can explain the basis of those three jobs in thier own words. Also explain what Benevolence means to you.

So that is why I letting everyone know that this is going on, so I can get some good ideas and hopefully this will get me back into the spirit of FFXI and get back into the basis of role playing and yada yada yada...lol. ^^ Thanx for the input everyone! And sorry for the edit, I didnt like the way it looked before.

Good idea Tanta. Having a PearlSack (in my opinion) holds more responsibility than just being able to distribute pearls. I think the officers are 'looked up to' by the LS members, and it's a great feeling to help and provide all you can to your team, as that's really what they are. I'm glad to see that 2 more people will have the same honor as me in this expanding LS. As far as the quests go for the comissions, I'll be on the lookout for some things that meet your description.

I guess the quest would have to be level independent, not to give advantage to the higher level candidate. Also, might I suggest that the quest be one that cannot be achieved with "help", as this may be a test of one's own abilities and personal determination, not how many ppl you can get to help you.

Just Ideas ... hope it helps, Tanta.

::Cheers::

Ok, a little bit of an update on this subject, I havent made much progress with this, but expect basically for the candiates to be running around Vana'del carrying items and things along that phrase.

Now also to whom are officers already, expect to have specific projects and specific responcibilites, becuase I am going to be completely honest, it is hard trying to make alot of events by myself, i find myself alot of times when Nuku wants to form a pt, i just let her do it while i go relax or something, I am going to come up with a list of things each officer will be required to do, and of course if you do not want to continue being an officer that is alright, it is just i will need alot of support from my officers in order to have Benevolence to succeed.

Things going into work:
Mission Officer/Webmaster - Contuar
Quest Officer - Vacant
Regional Representitives- Gaignin
Event Cordinator - Vacant
Linkshell Recruiter - Nuku

Mission Officer basically means that Contuar will be taking care of most of the missions relating to each specifc missions i.e. Promivion Dem, and Rise of Zilart missions... things like that, its a big job, but i know he can handle it.

Basically everything recruiting wise will go to Nuku, she will recruit them. Now the other Offys can give pearls, but let Nuku know that you are doing it so we can get a tally on who is new and who is not. All questions requarding Recruiting will go through Nuku.
These are the jobs i have so far, and I will be updating this as time goes on.

Along with all of these things, I still have not set a date for Benevolence for when we move up our LVL cap to lvl 40+ Rank 4+, but it is another things for everyone to be aware of becuase it is getting harder for those to gain admission into Benevolence, soon it will not be just asking to join, you will have to forfill more pre-reqs to join Benevolence.

Here we go!
The FULL EXPLINATION of:
OFFICER CANDIDATE TRAINING!

Ok, your little trip around Vana'del will take you over all of Vana'Del. hehee Thats the fun part!
The first part.
This will start in the desertish outskirts of South Gustaburg at the lighthouse.
You will be required to answer three questions pertaining as to where you need to go. I am now debating whether I should tell you the alternate locations or not. I think not telling you would make it a hellova lot more fun!

Depending on how you answer the questions depends on the items you will recieve to take to the next person (or next area). You will be required to trade the items to the person you are supposed to meet so they know you came from wherever you came from.

Just remember you will be required to answer three questions from each person and on how you answer these questions will determine on what type of item you will recive.

There is a total of six areas that a officer candidate will be required to go to. And in those six areas it splits off again, depending on how you answer the questions.

All of the traveling MUST BE Running. The use of Chocobos will be counted as disqualification.

Keep in mind, there might be an area that requires the use of an airship and that will not be counted against you. That is the only time you will be able to use any other mode of transportation besides using those two legs.

When you reach your first destination after you have obtained the clues and items pertaining on where you need to go, you will be "/tell"ed or (told) clues on where the person is at in that specific zone. They will say "By the place that is open to everyone buying from" or "Near the NPC that starts the PLD quest" or something along those lines. So you MUST know your stuff if you want to complete this quest.

When you are done going to where you need to go, you will end up in Ru'lude Gardens. Either with the right item or the wrong item. As I said, depending on the item shows what you rank our of everyone else. If there are ties, then I will find a way to break ties by having a chocobo race or something. ^^

In closing, this is open to anyone, but this is intially for my officer candidates who I am currently looking for. Two spots I need to fill, and of course those who think that they can do this are more welcome to try, the more the marrier!

If there are any questions please, dont hesitate to ask. And I do not tolorate cheating in this event. That is not cool and it takes away from all the effor we are trying to put into this. Thank you all, hope to see you all on the dusty trail!

(If any of this seems repetitive, let me know, I am kinda fried, so I might have left something out....)
