just a heads up to everyone Id advise using no scripts when viewing alla, Over the last week I have discovered 2 keylog cookies associated with advertisement banners on the site.

These have resulted in the loss of 2 email accounts, 1 battle.net account, my facebook account, my paypal account, changed banking information. As well as emails with sketchy links sent to my immediate family, and I can only assume friends as well.

Be aware.

Woah woah woah. You mean to tell me that there's people out there that still don't use noscript!?

You don't have anything to worry about. You're a WHM; you have Reraise III.

Did not know about keyscrambler. Immediately downloaded it. However, is there a way to disable the screen from popping up every time you type?

VII. Spam

A. Forum spam

Forum spam is defined as the act of repeatedly posting in a single thread, multiple new identical thread topics in a single forum, or multiple identical topics in different forums for the purposes of:

1. Disrupting the site

2. Unfairly padding ones post count

3. Promoting a single idea across multiple forums where one thread will suffice. (i.e. posting the same thread in every server forum, etc.) Most spamming incidents will result in an initial temporary mute of the account while the extent and content of spam are investigated. Allowances are made for the occasional accidental multipost, server glitches, and content and rate of spam are also evaluated. Unintentional spam, or incidents occurring out of ignorance will generally result in a warning. All other incidents of spam will be dealt with by a temporary or permanent mute or a full ban.

Admin announcement exception clause: From time to time an admin will need to inform, or request information from, a large body of forum users. In such cases an admin may at their discretion post a thread in multiple forum locations for official purposes.

General guidelines for determining if a poster is spamming:

1. They have more than 3 consecutive posts in the same thread during a short period of time (allowances are made for server errors.)

2. They have multiple consecutive topics in the same forum in a short period of time

3. They have multiple copies of a single thread in multiple forums. (usually this occurs out of ignorance for the policy and a warning is sufficient to prevent further problems)

X. Karma
If you are rating every post in a thread or a forum, especially in a long thread, up or down, you might be karma camping. The decision is based on an admin review, and we generally take into account the tone of the thread, your past rating history, any user complaints we receive, and how often such incidents occur.

If you are following a specific user around and rating every post they make up or down, you might be karma camping. The decision is based on an admin review of your rating history, their rating history on you (if any), the tone of recent posts you and they made, and if they or you did anything particularly offensive in their posts. If two people want to karma camp each other into oblivion, well that's fine with us.

Threads started in the forum for a group of users to all rate each other up are extremely discouraged.

How this thread has not been locked yet is beyond my comprehension. Not that I'm complaining. In fact this thread has been wonderful for the Lakshmi community and has introduced me to new people like Pud and rdmdontdie among others. I would have never met these people without this thread.

I'm just bringing this up because if I'm going to get moderated for a certain reason (i had it coming), I'm wondering why others get a pass and some don't.

Hmm, my recent spate of green arrows may have to be slowed somewhat.

This thread (and 100 pages) have introduced me to players, and also given me enough incentive to actually buy premium. SO yea, hope they don't ban it.

Although its discouraged, it's more likely that Thayos will come in and tell us to stop stroking each other's.... egos, then for the thread to get locked and everyone get banned. That happened a couple of times in the original 100 pages.

Which happened a couple times? The thread getting locked or everyone getting warned/banned?

Go to Display under Options, and change it to Tray Icon. That should solve your problem.

People getting warned. He'd just come in and say "Hey, someone has been doing mass rate ups, cut it out." And then he'd warn us that they might have to lock the thread. One time, I'm pretty sure he killed my dog and used its blood to write "Stop Posting" on my car, but I think that was an isolated incident.

So one of the hot chicks at my company is leaving. This is major because of the 3 hot chicks I work with, she is the hottest. So not only are the hot chicks at work decreasing by 33%, since she's the hottest it takes the average score of the hot chicks at work down. **** sucks. I mean, they are all married anyway, but its nice to have something to look at through out the day you know? Now I'm probably going to develop some sort of fetish for old ladies since that's all that's left.

I like your use of statistics, fully defined the forseen problem.

Managers also tend to like statistics, perhaps if you presented them with a graph that shows male work morale decreasing by over 33% in the coming future, you could persuade him/her to employ another equally motivational work colleague.

I've been at university for the past 3 years and different courses have different societies.

Civil engineers have CivSoc
Medical students have MedSoc
.. you get the idea.

Currently mechanical engineers have no society, we very nearly started a new society which was to be called CockSoc. 0 females on our course.
