I'm sure I am not the only person that finds it a pain to go through the sea of Rolanberry AFKers looking for a certain item for sale. I am also probably not the only person that can't keep a character online 24/7 to bazaar either, but that hates paying the AH tax to list items. So, my hope for this thread is to give people a place they can go to advertise wares for sale as well as items/services they might be looking to purchase.


A few helpful tips to make your sale/purchase as smooth as possible:

1. State what you are selling. Include stats if you want (especially on uncommon items).

2. Price. You can specify whether you are taking offers (OBO), if the price listed is non-negotiable, or if a trade for comparably valued items/services is an option.

3. Let potential buyers know when they can contact you in game. Don't forget to include your character name. The person interested in purchasing your item or skill need not reply on this forum. If interested, simply send person a private message through this site, or send a /tell in game.


Responsibilities:

Sellers, please return to edit your post when an item sells. If you are hiring the services of a crafter or someone to help with whatever, please edit your post to say mission completed, item made, etc.


PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE:

DON'T bash people's prices or turn this into a flame thread for any reason. A lot of people knowledgeable of current prices on our server read these forums so please, no blatant attempts to price gouge when listing items either.

If you list an item for sale at a certain price please honor that price as I do encourage anyone experiencing "bait and switch" or other dishonest sales tactics to please post feedback here. Please keep the sale clean, a good reputation is more useful than a little extra ill-gotten gil.

edit: TIP: do NOT send gil or items through the mog house delivery system when completing a sale. Unless you know the other person very well, only straight up trades advised. Being trusting is admirable but not wise when selling to strangers.

Mannequin Feet
Quest information here

One of many Mannequin pieces, I'm willing to sell for 200k, but slightly negotiable. Please note: Mannequin pieces are as far as I can tell impossible to send via mail system, so we'd have to do the transaction in person.

Pear au lait
This drink gives 3hp a tick for 5 minutes. If you do the math, it gives you 300hp over 5 minutes. Its great for leveling a low level job or for soloing. I've been using these on my low level war who recently dinged 20 in order to keep downtime low and to help the whm out. I'm leveling cooking and have a lot of these to sell. I keep the ingrediants on me at all times, and will continue to do so until I cap on the skill for them. As long as I'm near a mail person, I can whip some up and send them to you quickly. I always sell them for 1.5k.

Please note: I am always willing to sell you these items at anytime, however, if I am in the middle of a party, I will not leave them to send any of these items. However, if I'm just running around doing business, I'll be more then happy to send you anything I'm selling.

I agree with Fidant. This thread should definately be stickied.

I think for it to be stickied, Sassy would have to make a master list in the original post for ease of browsing, much like the crafter list or so on.

But that's just my biased opinion. It'd be quite cumbersome/boring to filter through posts and ask people if they've sold it or if they've adjusted the price and so on.

cost: can't really put a price on priceless.... but maybe 1 bajillion gil?

lol Leo. I should clarify, if someone has new items for sale they should put a new post up, not add it to an old post since some people might just only check newer postings. The whole idea is to advertise your wares and, not to state the obvious or anything but, the best advertisements hit the most readers. Once items in a post have sold or been removed from the market in any other way the post should be updated after which it would be a dead post.



I can't claim it as my own idea. But it has worked well in some other forums so I thought we could use something similar.

What an awesome idea for a post

I currently have a Hickory Lumber (50k) used in the recipe to make a Hickory Shield, which spawns Tatami Shield NM (note, I have heard tatami shield is not 100% drop unless you use the HQ hickory shield, so, try to recruit the services of a good woodworker when making your shield.) (earth crystal, 2x Hickory Lumber, 1x Iron Sheet (woodworking 70))

VERY good Idea, I gots lots of crap to get rid of.

1st: Im a level 80+1 bonecraft, 60 leather, 60 alchemy, 51 goldsmith and the rest are from 10-30. If you need anything made feel free to send /tell, usually on morning est time. I will also craft any bonecraft item I am skilling on for cost.
