This brings to mind a question. In FFXI especially a community opinion of you is vastly important to your overall enjoyment of the game. Based on the fact most all activities require 1 or more people to help you I would think that the motivation to "play nice" would be a constant worry for any player hoping to get by in the game.

Combine this with the fact our server (or most servers for that matter) is relatively small it stands to reason the people you talk sh*t to on here, or in game, will remember you and distance themselves from you. My playtime has had it's ups and downs, opinion of me has ranged from one of respect to one of resentment at times, like, hate and everything in between. Overall though I like to think that on the whole I'm looked at as a good player in both actions and play style. This has served me infinitely better than relying on LS strength alone to carry me along. Granted, you guys have the ability to kill these NM's and get the cool gear, but to do what with it, impress each other? If no one else on the server ever wants to do anything with you whats the point in the end?

All that said, why would seemingly adult people, or at least teenage, resort to going out of their way to piss people off? Resorting to elitist speak, and a general ineptitude to understand that the people you think have no affect on you today may one day have a direct influence on your enjoyment of the game to me seems short sighted. What is to be gained from it? You want to make money off your effort to kill these NM's, fair enough, w/e, but bear in mind the people you price gouge today may have something you want tomorrow.

I'm sorry, but are you completely blind to the giant elephant in the room? The one with the "Censhura" name tag? Paying large prices for end-game gear so you don't have to join an endgame ls is all fine and dandy, except on our server there is only one ls that monopolizes the kings and does so by reprehensible means. Surprising as it may be, some of us here actually maintain a small remnant of integrity by refraining from supporting such an ls and looking for these endgame items elsewhere.

It's a pretty simple concept to understand.

"The person faithful in what is least is faithful also in much, and the person unrighteous in what is least is unrighteous also in much." Video game or not, you've basically made it clear that you have little to no morals in the real world.

And that's a horrible analogy. A better one: instead of beating your opponent in a video-game tournament legitimately, you instead unplugged his controller at key moments during the competition.

Since logic, reading comprehension, and basic grammar manage to escape your grasp, I don't see any point in continuing a discussion with you on in-depth concepts such as morality and integrity.

I find it amazing how people can rationalize being total d!ckwads to other people just because it's within the confines of a video game.

I see this post exploded after i stopped watching it.

Although i am not surprised to get confirmed what we "suspected" when i last read the thread.

I am however surprised to what length some people will go to in the defense of themselves cheating an entire community of players.

Not only do Zhi openly admit to cheating. He defends it by saying he wanted to "end" a monopoly that another LS supposedly had before them.

Then to add on to this severely sickening parody, he and some others seem to "want us to understand" their reasons for doing this. And to top it up that we should be !!!Glad!!! they do it.

Let me break it down.

Cheating (in this case botting) should never happen, for whatever reason.
This way of doing it is like seeing a sprinter jack himself up on whatever illegal cracked up anabolic sh*t he might find on the very start-up line before the competition. What do you think will happen???

If another shell use Bot, they should be banned just the same as you will be banned one day.

Botting is just that. cheating.
Nothing you say will make it look better to another community member.

You guys fell for you own agenda. You are now the evil @#%^s (teamjp) that you once wished to hell! Congratulations!

Even if you guys gave these items away for free it wouldn't be right. Even though you would have less "enmity" from the community.

I sincerely wish that what you say is true, that most your members have their items and that you will disappear from the King's arena once and for all. Then at least the rest of us will have a "lesser" bot to outclaim.

So... what exactly are you going to do? start a petition? appeal to their sense of human decency? maybe make your own linkshell that can magically and legitimately out claim them?

My money is on: sit at your computer and pointlessly whine about it on a forum and accomplish nothing... go on, prove me wrong!

Wow, you know... I don't think I ever fully inferred the meaning of the acronym for the Special Task Force Unit. The STFU does seem to shut a lot of people up though :P
