Nameless Selbina QuestFollow

Recently I was messing around in the Selbina Weaver's Guild and I talked to the woman standing to the left of the counter. Now, I'm a bit of a power-quester (I had 40 done in windy before level 30) and I know the quests in this region pretty well. That's why I was so suprised when I got a special scene. The woman to the left of the counter, apparently Meylon's wife, started talking about their adopted daughter, who is in the next room. When I get a cut scene to provide background to an otherwise valueless character I get suspicious. What was going on?
The story went something like this:
"When Meylon was out on his trade routes he found this girl (now their daughter) by the road in pretty bad shape. Apparently she had been attacked by something. The experience was so traumatic for her that she had forgotten all her past (amnesia) except for the name of a boy (which isn't given)."
I might remember having read something about this, but I don't think so. At the time I got this quest I was a level 34/17 blm/rdm with only summoner advance job open. I have level 9 fame in windy, level 5+ fame in San d'Oria, and level 2 fame in Bastok. I have completed all the Rycharde quests, and all the quests out of Mhuara for that matter, but have not completed that many quests in Selbina. (All except for The Rescue, the map one, and every one that requires fishing) When this scene occured I had about 6 San d'orian quests started (including Squire's Test II) and 8 Windy quest started (none of which seem to be remotely related to this). I was also on the mission for rank 3 in windy. (I've been a lazytaru)
Any help figuring what the heck this is all about would be appreciated, thanks! Until then I'll be running around talking to all the people who match the very general description given to me.
PS. When I saw the scene nothing appeared in my quest log, but it's too random to not be a quest. Also, if this thread should be in a different forum please feel free to move it there, I just put it where I thought it should be.

Well watching the opening movie might give you a little hint as of to who she is.

It has been speculated that she is actually Aldo's lost sister.

Aldo is the leader of the Tenshodo. Once you start the magicite missions you get some cutscenes involving him and his sister. Whether or not there is a quest involving the girl in the weavers shop I do not know, maybe they will add onto it in the expansion.
