Ok here is an odd request. But I waited in Garlaige Citadel for over 3 hours last night, and currently hour+ this morning. I was wondering if anyone can help me open the banish gates. I need to get through number 3 so I can go to the stupid maw. I am currently waiting by gate 3. I'll be on for most of today, perhaps a few hours Sat afternoon. And most likey most of the Day Sun.

Hard to enjoy a game when all I do is wait around so I can get some silly gate open.

Searching in desperation for help with CoP Promy-Mea.

Detailed description: I've been missing the BLU spells available in CoP zones for quite awhile and need to complete the promyvion missions to gain access to them. I've completed Dem and Holla already, but have failed Mea with three different groups of people. The difficulty of this fight and the inability to obtain all the BLU spells I needed frustrated me to the point of taking a two year break from the game and I'm just finally returning to FFXI now to give it another shot. My linkshell has dissolved, and I'm desperately looking for someone familiar with Promyvion-Mea to help me finish this last fight.

I have numerous jobs at 30, so I can assist in a variety of ways. (NIN, WAR, WHM, BLM, BLU, RDM, SAM, DRG, THF - all 30+). I think I may even have a couple animas. Send me a tell in game if you think you can help. Thanks in advance!

Dunno if you still play or not, but i'd be happy to help you out, Fhonax. I see this thread still doesn't get any love.

Soloing GC Coffers

*Buy a(some) Carnation(s) from the M&P Shop in Upper Jueno

*Talk to the mandy in Garlaige Citadel (s) where banishing gate 2 would be to activate a flower quest.

*Run out of GC(s), out the back exit to exit to Sauromugue Champaign (s).

*Use the maw to get to the present.

*Reenter Garlaige Citadel.

You are now behind Banishing Gate 3, look for coffer, if not there run down to where the mandy would be if this was the past, (should be some broken steps with a Blank Targetable), trade the carnation to the blank spot and youll skip over the broken steps and are now behind Banishing gate 2! Look for coffer.

Bad thing is if its not there at all u cant get back to behind door 3 without going back to the past and entering present day GC from the back entrance. ; ;
