I haven't been able to confirm it, but I'll be keeping an eye on a particular person on Twitter as he's saying that he was assaulted over GG. For being pro-GG. His girlfriend's friends found out and decided he was an "internet misogynist". Again, this is not at all confirmed and if it turns out to be false, I'll let you know when I know.

I'm afraid I can't clarify for you.
I really didn't (and honestly still dont) understand who the people are that are supposedly speaking out-of-place for the people in the video. And in fact, speaking so loudly and assertively that they feel the need to have to go on the record to say, "you don't speak for me".

If people are going to spread this crap around they should be able to explain what it is and why it's important.
Also, let me reiterate. I have no side in this. Never have. If I question Poldaran it's because I'm not clear on the message that he's trying to send. If it's not clear to me, it's probably not clear to others. So, maybe this will help him refine his message.

It's the functional equivalent of Senator Rubio saying that the Democrats don't speak for all Latinos nor should they get an assumption of being the "Pro-Latino" party. You have women gamers saying that the "Anti-Gamergate" people aren't the "Pro-Women" people and they resent having their gender co-opted in some "We're the good guys because we're for women!" message.

Ok, this is my problem then.
Gamergate is a movement that wants to stop corruption in journalism, but anti-gamergate is not opposite of that. And this is hard to rectify.
Anti-gger are a movement that simply calls gamergaters bad things without provocation (but are not necessarily for or against, nor are they practicers of corruption in journalism)?
There's a very mixed message coming through.
