They would because you don't really get to do that for more than 5 minutes or so and only if your opponent is determined to just defend. Had they tried to do that for 30 minutes it would've been 17 - 0 for Argentina.
Well not bringing everyone forward like that of course, but it seemed like there was a lot more pep in them all of a sudden. Playing with extra motivation suddenly.

when you're playing 5-4-1 that's not terribly surprising. The plan ahead of time is going to be shoot balls far away and hope the lonely striker gets em.
