Except I don't think that's such a bad thing, currently you get 20 people running around close together using only a quarter of the field and I don't see people isolating themselves completely from the rest of their team on the off chance of getting a ball and beating the one or two defenders plus a keeper.
Edit: Also, the Netherlands win in the last minutes like they're Germans and the Germans play attractive football and fumble against weak teams. It's like bizarro world out there.

Eh, Nigeria was fine until ~70 minutes in.
Makes me wonder. When I first typed this:
I was thinking they were just pressing too far forward, or were out of position. Looking back I'm left wondering if they were already lagging after the first 30min or so, and it all just fell completely apart at the end. Nothing like chasing around people who can go at a higher tempo the whole match.
