It's that far fetched. I honestly had to check to see if this was an Onion article. It's that silly. Seriously? Why are you arguing this? It's a joke. Or it should be. The picture was just icing on the cake that should have screamed to everyone "this is a joke". But you're actually trying to defend this and I honestly can't figure out why. I don't know about "defend". I have no knowledge of this program existing or not. I have seen NSA do a TON of **** I would consider "poorly thought out". Daily, really, for many years of my life. This strikes me as COMPLETELY plausible. I'm sure it's true that you can't figure out why. Here's the really weird part. Snowden clearly does have many, many, legitimate documents. I assume you're not actually arguing that. Or are you? I recall you assuming some other goofy powerpoint slide was fake, too, right? Is it actually your position that none of the Snoweden stuff is legitimate? Anyway, that aside, assuming you agree he has a bunch of legitimate documents (and that Greenwald has them now), why, why the fuck would he fabricate a picture of three people taping up a Cisco box?
