It's -4f here. The winds have died down now and the sky's clearing...making it feel downright balmy. We've been getting snow steadily though not near as much as further south (har har Boston). I didn't even go out and shovel last night - it just seemed irrational.

8F out there. More worried about Monday when it's supposed to be a high of -7.

That said, it's winter and I was amused to hear Rush on the radio yesterday all flustered that the news channels weren't reporting a major rebuttal to global warming because, you know, it was snowing in Chicago. In January.

It's snowing here so it's warmed up to a very comfortable -15

They're too busy cherry-picking data that supports their cause anyway.

Also, 37.9F and blue skies. Had a bunch of rain last night and it cleared the air. Made for a pretty sunrise this morning as the tram rose out of the fog layer into clear skies.

Lot of coastal flooding over here. In southern England, that is, my town is a couple hundred meters up a cliff.

We've thawed out to 34F now, so we're at least above freezing.

We're supposed to get snow on Monday. While I expect that the resulting standard Georgia OMGSNOW freakout will shut the majority of the city down, my office is based out of Montana and they'll laugh at us if we ask for a snow day off.

It's 31 here now, so it's cold, but not horrible. It was 25 with a real feel of 17 this morning at carpool. I was listening to the news on the radio discussing the snowstorm up north and the anchor said "And Boston... it's gone. Just gone!!!" I laughed.

I wish there was snow here. Instead we've just been stuck on ~5°C and muddy for what seems like an eternity now.

I just poked around the office to inquire about any kind of inclement weather policy, if they had one. They don't, as I suspected. Apparently if the weather is so bad that they don't think it's safe for anyone to come in, we'll possibly get an email from the vice president who calls this office home. Or not.

Doesn't affect me too much since I've got a garage, a really short driveway, and a 10 minute commute on major highways, but a severe ice storm could seriously make life difficult for some of my coworkers who live in the middle of nowhere.

We had a really cold first 6 months of the year and after that it was hot for about a month and a half and since then it's been rain and sort of cold non stop. It just doesn't seem to want to get any colder so we'll get snow and ice nor does it get any warmer or less wet.

Now, see, if you guys changed to the Fahrenheit system, it could be 5°F and you could have snow!

About 5C, low clouds, fog, and a bit of misty rain. Good times, good weather for a run too. Smiley: nod

It barely got above freezing in Nashville today. We had a few flurries yesterday so there's icy patches on some of the roads and parking lots.

Also, next week since it's supposed to get down in single digits and snow, they've already canceled school. Smiley: rolleyes

We had -37.9 C on December 31st. Which is -36.22F.

Which I believe officially charts as "colder than a pimp's heart". It's been a couple years since we had a real Winter. This one is making up for it.
