He was on the visitors list the day after the election. I assume he just doesn't have much to say after the loss.

Even intelligent people can be dumb as hell. Gbaji would be an example. He's not unintelligent, he's just willfully uninformed.

O'Reilly is brilliant in terms of pandering to his target audience. Whether or not he honestly believes the crap he says doesn't really matter, because his job isn't really giving his opinion, it's giving the opinion that fox viewers want to hear.

It's been 10 years. Surely we understand his MO, by now. He'll wait to post about some unrelated topic and treat the election as if it didn't exist. At a certain time removed from it, he'll claim to have "suspected" that Obama was going to win in a landslide, and have thought Romney was a bad candidate. Whoever the next great milquetoast hope is will be the solution to all his problems.

What? Such a gentleman, who stands for truth and justice, has reneged on your agreement? Perish the thought, you besmirch him. It's probably just in the mail.

Obama doing a stand up right now.

Oddly seems to think that winning by 125 EV and 4% of the popular vote is some sort of mandate. The GOP is going to be very disappointed.

**** Morris already said 332 EV was a narrow Obama victory (versus a 320 EV "Romney landslide" as predicted).

The CEO of Murray Energy, an Ohio-based coal company, said the reelection of President Obama "was no cause for celebration. It was a time for prayer - and layoffs," the Washington Post reports.

Robert Murray read a prayer to a group of company staff members on the day after the election, lamenting the direction of the country and asking: "Lord, please forgive me and anyone with me in Murray Energy Corp. for the decisions that we are now forced to make to preserve the very existence of any of the enterprises that you have helped us build."

He then announced layoffs of 156 people at two subsidiaries.

This is the same company that forced its employees to attend a Mitt Romney rally last summer and lose pay as a result.

Wow, that is just a **** move. I mean seriously, what possible legitimate reason would he have for laying off all those people just because Obama won? He doesn't know what Obama is going to do or not do to the coal industry. That is such BS.

Also, thanks for the book tip Joph, that actually looks interesting.

While I can see how a Democrat in the White House doesn't bode well for a coal company or anything, I can't imagine tying the two this closely is a good idea. Some ACLU lawyer is running around their office right now in an excited frenzy.

Just like he defended the whole "Show up for no pay" Romney visit, Gbaji will tell us that this is how every company does it.

The reality is that gbaji is an AI in the early stages of development, designed to chinese room us with collated soundbites from republican talking heads. The doctrinal turmoil of defeat made it prudent to disable him for a few days until a new shared reality asserts itself.

In other news, Petraeus has resigned as CIA director due to having an affair. Cue conspiracy theories in 3... 2... 1....

Though I must admit, unless he was ******** some Taliban women and giving up state secrets, an affair seems a pretty tame reason to resign Smiley: dubious
