Electoral College is evident that we don't have faith in the people making intellectual votes. From my understanding, the electoral college doesn't even have to follow what their state supports.

Hope this is a sign of things to come. Marijuana for recreational use is great, and the remains of the plant can be used in a plethora of markets, creating thousands of potential jobs. Not to mention it allows virtually anyone to start a business, it moves money rapidly through the economy. It is really a true free market and that is why it is going to get fought, by virtually an industry that can be impacted by legalized marijuana. (not to mention if done right it can be an additional source of tax revenue).

Well, even though I'm in Illinois, my vote still counted - for Bill Foster (D) over Judy Biggert (R) for US House.

However, because I'm not a lizard-brained partisan hack, I can admit that Biggert got her district redrawn disadvantageously for her, probably by the Illinois Democratic machine.

Yeah, I'm pleased as punch that Foster and Duckworth won but, had they lost under their new districts, they'd have completely deserved to lose.

I'm glad to be out of Kinzinger's district though. That dude was worthless.

CA vot 20% in. Heavily Democratic Hawaii is 0% in. Fox continues to say a slim popular vote lead for Romney right now means Obama has no mandate.

Edit: Fox calls popular vote for Obama. Oh, thank God he has a mandate now...
