Tonight opened up Pumpkinfest at one of the local bars, with ten good pumpkin beers on tap. (Four of them have brought me to my current state.) Smiley: boozing

They also had pumpkin cheesecake, which was delicious.

I was decked out in Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin toiletries, which caused my drinking buddy Andrea to complain about her allergies, although her fiance liked my hand sanitizer and kept sniffing it.

What other awesome pumpkin stuff besides beer, pie, and lotion have you encountered this fall?

I'm starting a batch of pumpkin ale on Saturday. Hope it comes out good.

I bought a container of pumpkin spice milk for coffee flavoring purposes. It's sort of like pumpkin nog and tasty, but weird.

I find almost every pumpkin recipe to fall under this.

At this point I think we have no fewer than 5 pumpkins on our porch, and despite receiving promises that the indulgence is under control, I fully expect to see more in the coming days.

Anyway, we don't do much with them beyond roasting the seeds, you know baking them up. Like a sunflower seed, but with a more eatable shell.

It's fun to see how long they can remain on the porch before they end up decorating the road.

I love the smell of burning pumpkin from the plumbers candle crookedly flaming inside it on halloween night.
