I was going to say something witty and scathing, but people like that woman just drain the fire right out of me.

Let's be honest, though. The reality is that "witty and scathing" would likely escape you even if the fire were plentiful.

I mean, witty, on occasion, is likely within your grasp. Scathing is probably even something you could conjure up if the situation required. But mixing the two together in a cohesive and effective fashion is just slightly beyond your ken.

Oh gods I remember her. Smiley: laugh People like that scare me, but at the same time make me laugh because of how crazy they are. And I love how the producers told us exactly what she spent the money on after she decided to accept it after throwing that huge fit.

What? I've never even seen that whole episode, mostly because I've never regularly watched Wife Swap (just seen an episode or two), but I think that woman is like the most famous from that show, because she's so psychotic it's scary.

This was from an episode of Wife Swap?

Everything about this is deeply disturbing.

Yup, IIRC the other family was a bunch of hippies and the mom made a living as a radio psychic.

Another one I really enjoyed was a super feminist family that home schooled their three daughters, and a family with one teenage daughter that was a beauty queen and that was basically the center of their world. That one was interesting without being too crazy.

If that was scripted, that woman deserves an Emmy or something.

You have any doubt that a outrageous burst on a reality TV show, where camera crews follow two families around and hope to find awkward and outrageous interactions, is scripted?
