Because early voting isn't a thing, right?

If people want to vote, they're going to vote. Someone releasing a videogame isn't going to drastically change the course of an election. Period.

I can't see it having any measurable effect. Boy, it's been so long since I played a game good enough to seriously affect my social life and productivity.

You need to think creatively. I'm saying a bunch of those "Game Buses" parked outside voting places, loaded up with Halo. I wonder if it's too late to start a SuperPAC.

I'd also add in that the demographics of 18-35 that play Halo are primarily male. (Yes, some of us gals are going to be all over it as well, but we're a minority.) And of that 18-35 male demographic, they lean less heavily Dem than the females do (they trend toward Independent instead.)

So the effect will probably be a lot more minor than they're suspecting, because the women in the 18-35 demographic are the ones more motivated to vote to begin with, and the ones less likely to be camped out at Best Buy for a game.

I do think having a voting booth at Best Buy isn't a bad idea. Going to contact the county board of elections about that... Makes more sense than using a high school.

Sure, blame video games on low voting turnout. Not on the nominees.

It's just a building, unless there's some ordained minister preaching against a certain candidate I don't see there being any issue.

I've voted in firehouses.

Some of our hotels in smaller communities have had their meeting rooms used as voting locations. The free publicity was awesome.

I voted in a community center... and then worked as a scrutineer in a church polling station... I don't think it really matters.

It's not the church's fault, of course... it was some really sloppy or really corrupt election workers...

This is the first time I've ever seen an election result tossed out in Canada.

Tennessee only allows white non-Semitics to vote anyway so that makes sense.
