A team that is named after a state they no longer play in beat a team that does not acknowledge just a single state. The winning play was made with a butt.

Discuss.

I always refer to the New Jersey Giants. I didnt see the end of the game, I was too busy watching Dowington Abbey on PBS.

Watched it in nyc. Didn't have a vested interest in it, but drunk Giants pseudo-fans sure are obnoxious. Not that they're any different than any drunk pseudo fans, I suppose.

Decent game.

The only thing I cared about concerning the Superbowl was that I had to dodge drunk rednecks on the way home. Silly handegg.

Another crushing superbowl loss to the G-Men, but this one is somewhat less crushing than that last one. Tommy didn't have the best of games, but I think the Pats D played well all things considered (Only 1 "true" TD, as the last one was kinda a gimme). It was an interesting season & quite honestly, I think the NFC had the better crop of teams this year (Green Bay, New Orleans, SF). I feel bad for Houston on the AFC side, as I truly believe that if they had Schaub they would have at least made the AFC championship.

Balls.

Please don't remind me. I've been trying not to think about it. Both the Pats and Giants looked beatable this year.

I was reading a Java book during the game, and only looking up for the commercials, until the fourth quarter. Glad I started paying attention then, as that is when things got interesting.

My top three commercials:
1. Dog named Wego (Budweiser Rescue Dog Special)
2. King Elton John's Pepsi
3. Mr. Sandman and the Epic Dream (Kia Optima)

An honorable mention goes to the Audi Overweight Dog, and "Commercial That Actually Made Me Want the Product" goes to the Samsung Galaxy Note, with the stylus, that dragged all the Apple hipsters out of their lines and into a street parade.

I don't care about either team, but I care less about the Pats so I'm glad the Giants won. Brady is a damn primadonna crybaby and I love to see him lose.

Disappointing loss for the Pats. Had some hope for the Hail Mary at the end, but it wasn't to be. Both teams played well; it primarily came out to a couple of costly mistakes for the Patriots that tipped the balance.

As for commercials, none in particular stick out in my mind. I guess the "Wego" one was pretty good. I didn't like any of the Coke commercials. Most of the car commercials sucked too. Oh, the M&M one with "Sexy and I know it" was hilarious. Speaking of which, the half time show I thought was one of the better I've seen in the last few years. Too bad MIA had to flip the bird; likely won't have any "young" (pffft, like Madonna is young) half time show groups for another few years.

Pretty much. The Patriots defense played about as well as anyone could have hoped, even forcing two fumbles (neither of which resulting in a turnover, though). Brady played fairly well. I think a healthy Gronk would have been enough of a difference for NE to win.

Why would you voluntarily stop at the most interesting part?

Ford is demanding that Chevy quit airing the commercial where the ford truck driver doesn't survive the apocalypse.

Something about facts and data that ford says chevy got wrong.

Considering where I live, I was hoping that someone would give me some shit when I went and bought a sixer of Sam Adams half an hour before the game. No one took the bait though. Didn't even cxare about the game; the season ended for me awhile ago.

Decent game, 2nd half was kind of boring till the last 6 minutes or so. Commercials were weak, though I was a little moved by the Clint Eastwood 2nd half commercial. But then, I'm a fan of his, so I'm biased. The halftime show was as "meh" as I expected. I guess it wasn't horrible or anything, but I was never a big Madonna fan and I didn't have a clue who the hell any of the guests were. I guess I'm getting old.

He looked like some weird celestial wizard or something. At least Madonna's outfit had matte areas to break up the starscape.
