Was just inspired to start my own website for born-again Christian ex-pagans; going to (try to) get started in that tonight..
Hmm other than playing some LotRO, some housework, and church.. nothing much else.

I'm just glad all the holiday stuff is done with for awhile.

Hope you get to feeling better, cat.

The past week has been a little on the rough side for me. I had some regular gigs that kept me afloat financially and I got dropped from literally everything with zero warning. I wish they had at least dropped me before I dropped $700 on a computer. I'm pretty close to screwed, but I guess it's what I signed up for.

Since I'm on the subject, I may as well rant: it's starting to suck living in an area that has "both kinds of music: Country AND Western!" and trying to play something a little different. I don't get it. I kill nearly every crowd I play for (in the figurative sense), but I can't get a gig for the life of me because I'm not the good ol' boy's bar band. Knoxville's either got to start sprouting some less redneck places or I'm going to have to move somewhere else.

Move to Toronto. You'd be a hit.

Move to Athens (GA.) You'll also be a hit AND we're closer to Knoxville.

Party tonight, going over to the ladyfriend's place before the party and staying until Monday. Needless to say, this is going to be an awesome weekend.

Nashville would work. It's not just for country music anymore. And I could live vicariously through you, since I doubt I'll ever move back there myself. Smiley: frown
