If you'll define what "done to 'social standards'" means in a way that is coherent and I'll start to believe that you understand the basic precepts of the English language. If it's not contradictory I might even think you have a clue.
Well, I've already explained that I don't always use the right words, but I'll give it a whirl.
"Social standards" meant what people in a particular field of study tend to agree on how something should be done.
Holy sh*t it's Useless Almost-Tautological Definition Boy
So, instead of admitting that you're wrong, you're going to pull the "useless card".. whatever. The bottom line is that people in the same area of study tend to try to be on the same sheet of music. You should go to a few colloquiums.

Gothcha. Why do you suck so hard at both maths and science, then?
Well it's sometimes difficult to explain things beyond a person's comprehension. I just roll with the punches.
Now you know how we feel when we try to explain to you that gays aren't icky.
What? Are you attempting to persuade a subjective way of life as being objective? Just because you see no problem with two guys having sex, doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't. Many people would look down on a woman who's a complete *****. You're confusing tolerance with acceptance.

Nothing clever about it... you're failing to do what you were asked so, once you do, I'll get back to you. Whey debate the structure of some poll we're not reading?
By "clever" I mean, instead of admittance, you respond with sardonic statements for pleasure.
You made a statement that my links were useless. I argued that my links weren't useless in that both sides of the argument stated that the poll never asked the person on their opinion on DADT. So, I asked you, do you or do you not think that is an important question to ask? It's a yes or no question and you know the answer is yes, but instead of just admitting as such, you want to aver this nonsensical belief that you would need to know more about the poll to answer that question. That's just pure nonsense because, unless you're throwing together a random conglomeration of crap, you have to first brain storm the questions that you want to ask.
So, if you want to continue to play this "cat & mouse" game, fine, but don't think for a second that I don't know the rules to the game.
