I keep telling you guys he's just a deep-cover liberal trying to discredit the conservative movement from within through hyperbole of traditional conservative talking points.

But in a circular fashion, any real liberal would be smart enough to dial it back a little and appear slightly more credible. He's so idiotic, he can only be a conservative!

I feel like Poe's Paradox just barely fails to apply to Varus. No one could be accepted by him unless they spout off his fringe insanity - but if it was anyone else, such insanity would instantly peg the poster a sock puppet or a troll. Somehow most of us think he's legitimate.

Locked,

Legitimate? Not sure what that means. Is the sky rocketing cost of gas and steady rise on the costs of goods and services a legitimate concern? Aren't the democrats the ones who've been in charge the last two years? All you people have left is your ability to marginalize your opposition. Can't blame it on W or a GOP congress anymore. You're certainly not going to blame it on the people living off the social programs that comprise a huge voting block for the Dems. Probably not going to blame it on Obama, being the first black president and all you wouldn't want to appear racist. So who's left? Blame it on the tax payers. Blame it on joe the plumber. Tell the people they're not giving enough and they need to sacrifice more.

So continue to marginalize me and i'll continue pointing out what a bad job old barrys doing and when gas is avging 6$ a gallon maybe then enough "independents" will decide they've had enough and we'll elect another conservative member of the gop (not a rino/mcain) and he'll fix the economy so the Dems can regain power to f*ck it up again.

Gas is still less that its peak under Bush. You consevatives seem to forget that. Don't get me wrong, it is on track to go higher than that, but not there yet.

Give me a good republican candidate and I might consider them, not Palin, trump, or huckabee please

Like i've said the economy will determine whether or not Obama is re-elected and no matter how much money he spends towards his re-election or how much of the taxpayers money he gives away by means of social programs to bribe the masses it's not going to be enough.

Fortunately for the US most of our citizens do still work; and not for the govn.

If it is the economy that determines his reelection, you must be worried. Predictions are slow growth for the rest of this year and strong growth next year...election year.

Honest varus is honest. Whoa.

He's admitted to not reading anything before. Remember, he doesn't even believe most of the **** he posts. He's a troll.

Does it matter? You and Gbaji have already established that economics is like voodoo to you guys and economists are scary shamans, not to be trusted when they speak differently from what you wanted to hear.

You're more delusional than I thought if you think independents are going to go heavy with the Tea Party.

A new USA Today/Gallup poll shows American views of the Tea Party turning more negative since January, with 47% holding an unfavorable view of the movement and 33% holding a favorable view.

The 14-point gap is the largest since Gallup began tracking support for the Tea Party, which stood at 40% unfavorable and 37% unfavorable in March 2010 and remained relatively stable until this latest poll.
