You've been warned, so don't respond as if I'm being serious...


The real reason why we are in Liby is..............to prevent DADT from being removed in the military!!! We previously discussed in the DADT thread that the DoD agreed to lift DADT as long as we're not in the middle of a war. So, to keep from lifting it, we will continue to engage in new wars... Brilliant!

Seriously though, as I stated before, there will probably not be a time in the near future when we are not fighting a war. That change will happen whenever the DoD feels like making that change, which technically may not ever happen.

Well, just as I was just trying to point out in the DADT thread, it was all a political movement. He removed DADT without actually removing it, just as he "ended" combat missions with Soldiers still being deployed. With the combat in Libya, it should be even clearer that those "movements" were done just to fulfill the people's desires without removing the actual concern. It's not the location of the war that people were against.......
