That's what I've been arguing this entire time. You don't need 1000 people to know how people feel about rape, but if you want to know how the majority feels about something that is so evenly split, you're going to need more than 1,000 people, especially if it's truly random.

I think the poll is showing that the supporters are growing, not so much that it's a majority.

No, really, they do. Out of embarrassment, or maybe waiting for the rainbow-scented bees to dissipate.

I don't even know what he believes to agree or not...

Maybe wait until next year? Might be high enough to overcome margin of error then.

I could wait till next year OR I could just re-evaluate the scenario in a more logical point of view.

Ok, how about this:

100% of you supports/doesn't support SSM. (pick one).

???- The point is, as you pointed out and have been already discussed, the only way to know for sure what the majority believes is to poll a very large percentage of the population and that isn't efficient. Either that, or wait till the difference of opinion is much greater than what it is today. Given that, polls will simply not be favorable as of now.

53% very boring
44% not boring
3% Pat Buchanan

At one point I strongly considered naming my dog Pat Buchanan. Didn't end up getting a pug, though.

When I got back from R E D A C T I went to McDonalds, Burger King, and Wendy's. Wendy's was the superior choice. Those new fries were amazing ... for a fast food franchise, that is.

Wendy's chicken is far superior to other fast food chicken sandwiches. I don't know the competition even bothers.

Chick-fil-a is as good as Wendy's (though very different).

Yes their new fries are the best fast food fries out there. I have abandoned my love for the Double Quarter pounder meal for the Baconator meal with fries at wendy's. The fries have hooked me.
