Democrats are racistsFollow

#252 Jul 23 2010 at 8:04 AM Rating: Decent
Kaelesh,

So you don't think race baiters are racists? Interesting logic, or rather lack thereof.

Get ready for this template to be used over and over and over in the coming months. Someone from the GOP attacks Obama's policies, some black politician (or govn employee) then turns around and accuses the GOP of racism. This tactic is all the Democrats have. Accuse anyone who opposes Obama as a racist then maybe the sheeple will tune their actual message out.

I don't have to play the what if game I have real life examples. Like this one;

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/12/09/lott.comment/

Trent Lott was take 100% out of context and yet the same people that are defending Sherrod were the ones who ran Lott out of town.

A whole lot of race baiters are just cynical politicians looking for an advantage. I think this is true of pundits and politicians on both sides.

Samy,

I think people who use race as a means of pushing an agenda, or ideology, are racists. I guess we're just different that way.

Nothing in that article shows that Lott's statement wasn't racist....

In fact:

Quote:
Lott, who will resume his duties as Senate majority leader when the 108th Congress convenes next month, issued a two-sentence statement Monday defending the remark. The statement did not explain what he meant by "all these problems."

Also, this incident doesn't seem to have "ran Lott out of town." Just further goes to show that you don't actually read the things you link here.

Can you ever man up and answer a single question?

Ash,

Quote:
Lott — a neat-haired perfectionist with a penchant for order — rose to the pinnacle of Washington politics as Senate majority leader but was ousted from the post in 2002 over remarks he made at retiring Sen. Strom Thurmond's 100th birthday party that were interpreted as support for Southern segregationist policies. President Bush did not stand behind Lott after his remarks about Thurmond, increasing pressure on the lawmaker to step down from the leadership post.

Do you ever actually bother researching anything before you spout your idiocy?

And the thought that you actually think you're going to be a scientist is just sad.

Ash,

It's obvious you don't have any idea what you're talking about. Typical liberal.

The media and democrats "perceived" his comments to be racist. That's all it took.

Kaelesh,

Anyone who uses race to push their agenda, whatever that agenda may be, is racist. They think their race gives them the right to do whatever they please constitution and individual rights be d*mned.

Good job Sparky.

How about 2 for 2: You honestly believe that it only happens on the Democratic side of the sphere?

Uh, Lott resigned as Senate Majority Leader. He didn't leave Congress until 2007.

kael,

I believe racists come in all colours. Difference being the GOP throws them out and the Democrats don't even believe black people can be racists since they don't have the power.

25 years before he was elected? Hot damn, we should keep this woman even if she is racist. The White House could always use more prophets.

Majivo,

You didn't listen to the tape did you. Why am I not surprised.

Of course you can't really be a good little goose stepping liberal if you actually learn about the people running your party now can you?

Rumor is that Vilsack has offered to create a new position for her in the USDA, specifically to focus on civil rights violations within the department such as what she potentially faced. That might be the best solution for everyone.

On another interesting tidbit, her husband and two kids live in my town. I almost want to find out where they live and bring them a batch of cookies or something. Poor family.

Cat,

Yeah we know liberals love racists.

I'm curious; did you listen to the entire video? And do you think she was race baiting?

No matter how many times you say it, it doesn't make it true.

Sort of an ironic (if not asinine) question since posing the query is essentially race baiting in and of itself.

The story she related about the white farmer wasn't the only thing she talked about during the 43 minute speech. She also talked about how more black people should get jobs in government because it's impossible to lose your job. Ironic, yes.
