To be fair, he may have been one also. Depending on which version you watched.
Rutger Hauer should have let him drop. It would have at least let him finish his career without all the embarassing 'aging actor trying to stay hip' movies that he's done recently. Harrison Ford in action movies has ceased to be convincing.

So I take it you're against the rumored Indiana Jones 4 movie?

Well it's apparently in pre-production with Steven Spielberg directing and George Lucas co-writing it, so there's always hope....

Only if Harrison Ford is in it as Indie. It's a pity River Pheonix died- he made a rather amusing young Indiana. Admittedly, I think that the last one was the best- probably for the improbability of Sean Connery as Harrison Ford's father.

The last few action films which starred Harrison were kind of sad. Watching him do a slow trot across a roof in Colombia as people are shooting and somehow missing him with fully automatic weapons as he ran slower than even my fat *** could was rather pathetic.

Don't get me wrong- he has several excellent movies under his belt, but he needs to veer away from action, IMO.

Edit: I'd like to buy a vowel.

Read the book, it's far better than either version. That said, I don't understand how anyone who hasn't read the book can even begin to follow the theatrical release.

All we can hope for now is a fatal heart attack during one of the sex scenes with a blonde 50 years his junior.

I can deal with a heavily-medicated Harrison Ford and a wrinkled Karen Allen, but why Bob why did they bring back Kate Capshaw?

And shagging the director is no excuse.

If that banshee is in the new movie and Short Round isn't, I'll start the boycott myself.

I'm pretty sure it is because she's shagging the director. And Karen Allen, sheesh.

They should be calling the movie "Cocoon 3" in stead. They could all use a revitalizing pool to swim in for a while.

Especially with all the stone doors that slam shut around him. Swinging blades, rolling boulders, it's just not safe a few inches in front of Indiana Jones.

Dodo, I'm disturbed by the notion that you think Harrison Ford running around with a 4-hour woody is hawt. By the way, where is your alluring avvy of the happy bikini-clad chick?
