Alrighty, you know I can't make Bahstahn, let's get to planning the next event.
We can do that too, we had actually talked about renting a cabin and floating the Illinois near Tahlequah. We can do both, or that and a LAN. Whichever.
You know, that ones closer to vancouver, i might actually be able to make that one. When is it going to be occuring?

I think next summer/early fall was mentioned? I know if you do it earlier than a year from now, I won't be able to make it. I need a year between events to save up monies as I am teh poor.

I could do Allanois. Chitown is about 3.5 hours away from me.
Didn't any of your mothers warn against meeting people you know only on-line? That said, I would come to Allanois if Nadenu committed.
Maybe it's because I live on an island where it takes only 3-4 hours to drive around it, but god you mainland people are nuts to look at a 7-8 hour drive and say, "Yeah, I'll just drive!" /boggle
Why not save up for TWO years and come out here. We have lovely sewage ridden beaches and mile long lines of Japanese tourists!

Allanois could certainly work, as long as it's next year. I'm still not totally *out* for Boston, but most likely am. I typically procrastinate on things such as this, and I have nothing to wear.
