Dear Lord, let this please come to an end.

We are heading to the hospital first thing tomorrow morning, the DR said we would make something happen. So, they'll probably induce around 8ish, maybe baby around 4pm. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted with pictures. I know that bohdi is aching for another picture to add to his collection.

Until then, I am enjoying the time we have to together by playing WoW while she sleeps. Got some kickass stuff from WC today.

Time keeps on tickin tickin....

I feel for her. I was a week overdue with both mine. I had to be induced both times, too.

Good luck tomorrow!

Mehh - bloody women.

If we men gave birth they'd have drive-thru DRs.

And they'd have a ***** bar

They actually worked right up till their water broke like they were supposed to. You know, doing dishes, cooking food, giving blow jobs...

Can't you two just...you know..."do it" to induce labor?

I learned that one from 'Friends'!

Just remember that if she wakes up and tells you that you guys need to go to the hospital, ask no questions, grab your keys and take her. My husband kept telling me "It's just another false alarm and they're going to send us home" (while he's playing Doom). I finally had to take the keys and throw them at him to get his goddam attention from his fragging.

But congratulations and I hope it's a speedy, peaceful & non-screaming labor and birth.

Good luck! I hope she is going to get an epidural because when they Induce you, after about 3-4 hrs depending on how far apart her contractions are, the will become very horrible.

I had to get 2 epidurals, I was a week and a half overdue. The epidurals made a whole lot less painful. My total labor time was about 10 hrs, and like a hour and a half was spent in horrible pain. ; ;

But every woman is different so hopefully the birthing will be easy. I had a friend who had no epidural, her labor was 5hrs -.-, and she didnt really have bad pain.(I wanted to punch her lol)

Yay for finally getting the ball rolling. It means you'll get your pillow back. Coincidentally, your child will have the same birthday as mine.

I hear babies are practically invincible for the first few hours after birth.

When I was born, my mom threw me against a wall. Smiley: yippee

I hate to point it out, Neph, but induction is not a sure thing. It can still take days after the drugs are administered. My wife went in on a Wednesday and the little ******* didn't come out for 50 hours.

Sounds like he's got it all planned out...no reason it shouldn't follow the plan, right? Smiley: sly

There is not a big enough font on Allakhazam's Magic Realm to adequately describe the laugh I just got. Thanks for that. :)

Or the baby can go into distress and you find yourself being wheeled away for emergency C-section. Smiley: frown

Fun times...

Or you can scare the crap out of your husband by suddenly screaming for help when he asks if you're sure you really want an epidural, hahahaha. Poor guy.

Ok Neph, she should be fully dialated now and ready to begin pushing in 20 or 30 minutes. Are things on schedule for your 4pm deadline?

CONGRATULATIONS NEPH AND WIFE!!! Details when you get a chance (which isn't likely to be for a couple days). Take care of yourselves and each other and your new addition :D
