So I will occasionally stumble across a match while flipping through channels, and park on it for a while. I mean, it's more than likely a typical male thing to do... I enjoy watching people beat the crap out of one another.
So anyway, I have noticed lately that in-between rounds, when the cameras used to check out the card girls, they now zoom in on the guys in their corners. Who the hell thinks that's a good idea?? I mean, while they're fighting it's fun to watch, but how DARE they focus on some sweaty dude getting water sponged on him while there's some hot chick walking around the ring.
If they want to focus on the corners, can they at least have hot sweaty chicks in them getting sponged with water instead of the guys? Please???

I'm all for the camera focusing on the hot girls who display the round cards, but I think the idea is to show the extent of damage done to the boxer's face up to that point in the fight, as well as how tired he looks. People have a lot of money riding on these matches ya know...

I pretty much quit watching boxing around the time Tyson imploded. However, I don't recall them ever giving much camera time to the ring girls, so I'd say it's nothing new.
Also, I do like to see how badly the boxer is beat up, and it's nice when you can hear what the trainer is saying to them. To be honest, I'd rather catch that. If I want to ogle women, well that's what **** is for.

Some people are like slinkies, they aren't really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
The only time I see ring girls is during the more low brow matches. UFC stuff and kick boxing.
