Haiti and Acupuncture > China and Voodoo.

Unless you mean China in reference to the teacup kind.

I would think a more spiritual form of medicine like voodoo would be more appealing due to the form lending itself to skimpy outfits a bit moreso than a guy just going about in a rather humdrum way sticking you with pins.

Though I suppose if it turned out there was some interesting drugs the needles were tipped with that were being stuck into you by an acupuncturist, than you might get to have some enjoyable hallucinations involving people with skimpy clothing. But then your more going for a chance at a dream rather than experiencing the reality.

You could argue that the hormones brought up by the attraction to such skimpy procedures could also lead to a more enthused arterial system which may help with curing what ails you. In which case tampering with such a development with laced acupuncture needles may lead to unintended consequences, such as impotency.

I saw it reported recently that acupuncture is just as effective when administered by a skilled acupuncturist as it is when performed by an untrained poker. The study also showed, however, that there was a quantified benefit to allowing one's self to be subjected to the poking. Kind of legitamizes acupuncture while at the same time delegitamizing acupuncturists.
